they are back

It's ramadan 2009, like everyone is aware of. This year round, ramadan is just losing its sparkle since I have to contemplate with the SPM trial exam which will last for a month. If I am pious enough to accept this fate, I will be thankful because the month of ramadan is the perfect time for us muslims to pray as much as we want because Allah will grant the pray of the most faithful believers. So, if we add our hardwork together will ample time to serve for Allah, I bet we all can succeed brilliantly in SPM.

Yesterday, it was the first day of ramadan. It went pretty well, as the day was not too hot and too cold. I didn't even feel like I was fasting. During tarawih, it was such a fun experience since I met old friends, Maryam and Najihah. They are back, and already finished off with trial..meanwhile I still struggling to do well in the exam. I also bumped into Nina and the others like Fathin Syamimi or Syasya, Amira, and Hidayah. It went chaotic when Hidayah suddenly fainted. Haih...poor girl, she must be dehydrated. I got a nice chat with Maryam, and she always being the spontaneously funny girl. Love her:)

fighting against lust, can you?

Ustaz Baharom made his way for a short tazkirah this morning. The tazkirah was of course informing about what Ramadan is all about. I noticed that the tazkirah is almost the same as last year, but I didn't want to give any comments about that since, as we all know, we are frequently and easily forget what is the TRUE meaning of this Holy Month. Bak kata orang tua-tua, Manusia mudah lupa.

The tazkirah came out short because Puan K, disturbed it. Well, not because she hates the tazkirah but we had three events held today at school, and the program must begin early. However, what I was going to say is that Ustaz did tell us kids that Ramadan is the time to fight against lust, whether they are the lust of consuming food and drinking, sex and the lust to see bad things and saying nonsense. It was kind of weird to hear him said the 's' word, but I think its good for him to be honest. Furthermore, he kept reminding us that the devils are not freed to interrupt our focus during ramadan which is a very good thing isn't it? So muslimin and muslimat, are we ready to fight against lust? Ask yourself and your inner strength as a muslim.

Oh before I headed to perform Maghrib, I do have a joyful thing to share. Actually, Datuk Dr Sheikh Muzaphar came to my school to give some motivational talk today. I must say that he is a heart-throb; as his heights, complexion, the smile, the grinning, all complete. A good package to be considered as a prince charming. However, I was more interested in his goals. That was how he struggles to achieve his goals. He has so many ambitions and he showed to us that he can make them come true. The secret recipe? Of course not chocolate cake or cheese cake, but a lorry laden of HARD WORK and determination.

Are u fasting?

Something weird occurred to me at school today. It started when I was on the way to the front seat in 5 Amal, getting ready for pendidikan Islam lesson. Then, I saw Liew Chee Tuck and Anne Vanessa. They were doing some math revision. As Liew was in a hurry, he asked me to show Anne how to solve the math question. I was glad because it was the same question I attempted yesterday, so I gave her my shot. But, like always I failed to make her understand what I was trying to say, and it turned out she didn't understand the question.

Then she asked me something

"Dayana...u puasa ke??"

I was shocked, because it was the rarest question anyone has ever asked me for ages.

I answered quietly "No" {with serak2basah kinda voice due to my no-end-coughing disease}

Then, she said....

"Ur breathe smelly la...(trying to make how smelly it was) try minum air banyak2 la ok?"

After that she continues...

"U kecil hati ke?? I just bagi suggestion je"

So I went..."Erkk....no tak kecik hati..langsung" (although it was kinda hurt and embarrassing)

Then she said "Ok...bubbye..."

see without even saying thanks for the help...

{so cliche'}

Helium is far way less denser than oxygen

well blogging has never been a stop for me even though I did tell people that I want to quit. Realizing that my mother is sick has made me widen up my eyes and try to think twice about having a bad post about my mother.

Surely, no one can live without his or her mom. I just hope and pray that she will regain her healthiness by tomorrow or better, tonight.

Fine, I started my day with the usual morning prayer, and decided to go back to sleep, but I empowered myself to do better things. So, rather than falling back to the dreamland, I went downstairs and started doing my Nilam projects. I read at least 4 articles, different articles of course, and did the summaries of all of them. Such a boring job. Yawning and yawning. Then, my day went juggling with physics class with cuz, Abg I. I just hate electronics!!!

Now, want to go solat...and wish me luck for whatever happens for tomorrow
