Papa, Alamanda, MPH dan Wedding Marathon

May already and almost come to its end. May 2011 brought fun when I was able to attend my friends for the gateway to Sabah. I might have bragging about Sabah like a tons of times here in the blog, and it's because I miss SABAH and the moments with all the girls who went there as well.

Papa is my greatest boyfriend cum a great cook and chef and a wonderful daddy. Yesterday, I wanted to go shopping badly-it is a therapy when you have nervousness and it's a therapy when you become suddenly blurred with your live. Due to laziness, I couldn't have the energy to go to the nearest best mall by myself. Just hate to wait for buses and trains. Hence, I coaxed my papa to follow me and drive mom, sister and I to Alamanda. HAHAHAR.

Wait here's a thing; my papa was so busy yesterday. He had stuff to do at the surau nearby since he is among the committee members, then at noon one couple needed to be wedded off and he had to be at the surau too until 3 pm. I could see tiredness in his eyes, but as a demanding child I still wanna go shopping. :D

My dad would never nagged us for being picky or choosy or terhegeh-hegeh while shopping. That's the best part. My time in a shoe store is approximately an hour because I would have hard time to have shoes that suit me best. What to do if you have a gigantic feet like me. I can spend an entire day in a bookstore especially when it is MPH or POPULAR. My top list-must buy book would be Hospital Babylon; True Confession of  A Doctor. I saw it as quick as when I crossed the border line between the entrance and the first rack. It was there, ONLY ONE THERE.

Sadly, it was expensive. Look for my mom who to borrow her plastic money, but she wasn't there. It's pathetic how you wanna buy a book so much but knowing you have not enough cash to grab it and make it yours! In the end, I bought another book called Isabella-an Islamic book but with heart full of sadness. But the boys behind me when I was paying the book ALREADY had the book in their hands. Perhaps they shared it. And when mom came, I wanna go back and take the book-and unfortunately, the boys at the counter already purchased it with a big smile. MELEPAS! not my rezeki probably.

So I spend about an hour again at MPH, dad was waiting like a log outside, but he never nagged except when it was almost maghrib. He texted a few times to notice me that it's time to pray. Once I got out, then mom stopped by at another shoe store-spent another 20 minutes. And dad was just patiently waiting. Hehehhe

Dad drove fast to reach home before 8pm. As soon as we arrived, he hurried back to the surau and there's a program for belia at the surau comprising of qiyamulai and activities for the kids who join it. He didn't even come back home that night and spend his night at the surau. And today, in the morning, after Subuh, papa joined gotong royong and once he returned, he wanna go to wedding ceremonies. My dad always advised me to follow him attending weddings because it's a sunnah to do so. Besides, I have craving for nasi minyak and thus mmg elok benar lah ikut dia.

After attending two weddings, mom wanna go to Tesco-shopping for groceries. Papa was tired. His eyes were red and yawned several times. He even walked weirdly sebab sakit pinggang. Hahahaha. Once home, I told him to rest and sleep even though it's not appropriate to sleep after Asar. But he didn't manage to rest his body so he better do it now. And while I am writing this he is fast asleep as a baby- and he needs energy to drive to Shah Alam tomorrow morning.

Terima kasih papa :) If only I could say this to his face. The best father has Allah gave me. Alhamdulillah, I could never ask for more :)

Papa always smile when cooking- he had fun trying to teach me how to.
Papa always nagged when I drive too fast-but he never feels tired to guide me to press the brake
Papa would always sit outside of the stores when I am shopping-but he would smile seeing what I bought
Papa would always asked for coffee because he knew I am the best coffee maker. :P

I pray for his longevity and prosperity in life and after life. Ya ALLAH berkatilah beliau. Semoga beliau sihat walafiat....dan berilah daku kesempatan untuk menjaga beliau dan menjaga bonda pada hari tua mereka. Amin :)

Vague Minds

Above title means : unclear, blurred minds. That what I have right now. This instance. Why?

1. Money-less

- Who wouldn't care if her/his bank account suddenly showed a sudden decrement? Maybe I am over-reacting but this situation put me in cold feet. EY? Yes. One of the things in this whole life world that I DESPISE the most is seeing how bad I did in controlling my lust for shopping. Like every woman on this Planet Earth, I like shopping. My cousin always goes shopping when she's on stress at work. She said it's a therapy and yes it is a therapy. But, this therapy is so barbaric to me. It worries me to hell.

-So, one day, I had lunch at one restaurant at Kajang Sentral (as if everybody knew where it is). After finishing my luncheon,  I stumbled upon an advertisement nearby regarding a vacancy at Smart Reader. It needs a Fardhu A'in and English tutor. So, I took the contact number, IN CASE, I wanna work there. Well, I definitely eligible to work at that place because the location is not a problem to go, since I can even WALK to work. T.T

-One night, I told my mom how worried I am for what happened to my savings. Of course, Mom isn't the kind of mother who would see her daughter struggles for cash. She would bank in some for me, but I insisted that I am old enough to find my own solution, because I am capable not a handicapped.

2. Work??

- So, I almost on my way to start becoming productive for a job seek. Yesterday, I started by searching for my SPM result slip. However, after 30 minutes searching, I found nothing except for some photocopied ones. Can't find the original, and I am freaked out already! But after tired searching, my mom said, Go take the certificate instead, since it can replace the original slip. I was like okay....waiting for my world's best driver and good friend to tag me along :/

- My another friend, Mimi, who was my job seeker companion during SPM over-days, wants to go for job seeking at KLCC. High salaries if you work at the capital, said she. I understood why she wants to work there despite the distance and the annoyance she has to bear to go there everyday. She said, she wants independence, and that's good because she's a pro in being one. I somehow envy her for that.

3. Exercise

- I used to jog every morning for the last 2 years with my little sister since she schooled in the afternoon. It was rejuvenating and refreshing. Even I jogged with my dad so often till my abdomen felt damn hurt. But, now, since my sister only came home in the afternoon and sleep afterwards and my dad has becoming too old to jog, thus I have no companion. Yeah another excuse. But jogging alone is dangerous especially around my neighborhood. To add more, there's another construction going on nearby, for another Kajang called Kajang 2. The place used to be full of greeneries and it's so good to jog surrounded by those greens, but now, not anymore. It is just a piece of big sand land. T.T With big trucks everywhere and sands and cements, and plus, the immigrants living nearby, to jog around seems like a dream...

-Badminton is what I used to be good at. With 4 rackets I had, it was so fun to play games with friends. My best buddy Chiam, who was my companion every morning, and used to wait for me at the bus stop to head towards our best place to play, is now no longer here. I have less reason to play the game. Alia is another friend, but she's too busy and seems like she had no interest to play with me. My rackets seems gone too, because my brother had been keeping them at his friends'. Arghhh...tense!!

5. Food Fiesta.

-I have been bad at controlling my hunger. Eat so many things and just eat what mom recommends. I hate that she cooks so many oily foods and I have just to eat them because I am hungry, but I know it's bad for health.

6. UiTM and havoc

- UPU tells us the innocent kids, there will be an interview for those opted for critical courses like medicine and dentistry and pharmacy. So, to cut short, yesterday was the day for us to check for the call. Like always, my name wasn't short listed. I was again frustrated. But keep it cool, then I know, none until this far has got into the interview. Thus, the havoc begun. Everyone from asasi, kept posting in the Facebook page, on the matter. Whether yes or not, that the courses need interviews. Argh...confusing.

7. My dad's latest hobby

- My dad is currently obsessed or in a deep interest towards korean dramas. I was like okay at first, but then every single time he will popped out in front of me and asked whether I have download the recent episodes. It feels great when I like the same series as he does, but when it contrasts, I just feel damn bored. Right now, he likes a drama call Take Care Agashi, which I think super duper boring. But, at least, by letting him enjoy this, it's the least I can do.

What does it feel to be a DAD?

Assalamualaikum peeps...

Again this monday, is somehow relaxing, I am done with today's physics and chemistry. Nothing funny nor intriguing happened, just the same-usual Mondays, the day where all the boys here looked smashing in their tucked in shirts with a tie, and black-shiny bally shoes. Hahaha:) My friends and I played 'flirt' in lecture hall, peeping which and who is the most handsome, and cute among them all. xD *gatal naaa* (Whatever:))

For the past weekends, it was Father's Day. A day barely called it, to celebrate a man called father, or dad. But for me it's for my beloved PAPA. Well, maybe it sounded childish to call my father papa, at this age, but to call him PAPA, reminding me of becoming his first baby girl again whom used to be in his cuddles, who used to play soccer with him, before my brother was born and who used to be his sweetheart. Haha.

I do not know exactly how does it feel to be a father. How does it feel hold the responsibility of taking good care of the kids, handling and knowing their essentials, work hard to pay for everything and so many other responsibility on his shoulder. A dad therefore must be the forth or fifth person, to be loved after mom. FIRST until THIRD, MOM is the one who needs the most attention, then it came to DAD.

I remembered the day when I cried meticulously thinking of the fact that I will not be going to Russia to pursue medicine, since I got an offer from UiTM. Dad was the one who told me with his softest tone,

"Sorry darling, that I can't granted your wish. Maybe you want to be like me, studying abroad, but trust me, locally is much more better"

I admit I hurt my father a lot these days by muttering these and that, couldn't let go of my safe zone, taking him for granted, treating him bad, by raising my voice, sulk and so many things which obviously showed my weakness. I also being too demanding by asking these and that showing my disrespectful whatsoever. To cut it short, DAD! I've sinned! Maybe my dad and I do have some arguments since we do not share the same opinions and etc, but I believed, the difference between him and I is the factor which makes our relationship as father and daughter strengthen. Thanks daddy or papa for everything you've done for me!
