second last

assalamualaikum.

it's already 11 past something PM here in Belagavi where I currently live, not sleepy but feel this urge to blog. It has been quite a while.

whether you vivid readers of mine realize it or not, this author is already in her forth year. but no YEYY yet, as this is just the 2nd last year of medical school. And trust me, as you approach the end of medical school, you feel the urge to just stick to become a student. Being a student, gives so many benefits and you do not have to be responsible to the patients you are seeing. Plus, you can make mistakes as many as possible because you are still holding that student title.

And so, that's why life as a student is a bliss. For me, as a medical student, one cannot deny by how far his or her life is living in blissfulness. We are generally been exposed to the wonders of Allah's wonderful creation; the human body every single day.

We learn the normalcy, we later learn the diseased state and try to look for measures in a way that to prevent the disease from worsening or maybe just to stop the symptoms or the features the disease is presenting with. Even the drugs prescribed to the patients are actually us, the future doctors' responsibility to get it right. We can get sued for messing with the diagnosis and the therapy we decided on the patients. That is how insecure and risky our job is.

So now that I have another 2 years to be in calm state of mind, not having to put myself at that risky shoe as a doctor in practice, I must enjoy this life to the fullest! At the same time, must work really really hard not to miss anything out. Because, you can easily missed out now that you in forth year especially here in my University. You see your friends already capable to withdraw blood, so you were like, "Why she can get the chance but not me?!" then you see your other friend who was capable to wake up as early as 7 am just to catch an insulin injection and you say, "OMG...! I should wake up earlier. Damn you alarm clock!". The cycle continues. This second last year in medical school, the school will let you be an adult. You have to decide whether to attend a seminar, a lecture, a clinical ward work (ward round) or clinical presentation. It's all up to you! Hard working is what now matters most!

I was first posted in medicine. Internal medicine that was, for approximately 6 weeks. The duration is quite short compared to usual medical schools which had it for at least 2 months. Still it was an amazing posting. I admit I have learnt so many things. And I also admit during this posting, I had basically improved in history taking and case presentation as well as the physical examination, alhamdulillah! Medicine is again covered the whole thing. It's like you are dealing with things under the sun. Or the pandora box some will say it. Like always, as the first group of posting, there was some problem in between. We didn't manage to complete our logbook like a professional. It was rather sad because you know when you have to do things just as what you can do to get it finish rather than doing something really good because you really wanna impressed the examiners; these two actions are different. We were supposedly to be assigned to different patient each and made a follow-up for each patient. But we didn't do it because it was a last minute call. Later, we just made it finish by whatever wits we have. I myself typed 10 case reports in a week! That's considered a new record! And kids, trust me! Case reports can make you die! Like literally! I am grateful I didn't phew! Only is do not procrastinate in medicine! There's certainly no time to lingering around because every minute now counts!

Now, basically I am in the forth week, finale week of psychiatric. Psychiatric has been the most sporting post so far. Our lecturers are cool and they can totally understand how we work. They didn't just push us to the extra limits which was good. The only main problem came to the time of presenting a case. The problem is once again the language. Dealing with mentally disorder patients are somewhat fun, exciting but then again will just make you disappointed in the end. The disappointment appeared when you tried so hard talking like a chicken speaking to duck, yet you came to nothing. In psychiatry, history is more likely to be his story. His or her kind of story you need to know. What problem he or she had, cannot be asked by simply a question of "What problem are you having?" They would just say mental problem. Or "pagal" which means crazy or lunatic in Hindi. That is certainly not enough to write in our case sheet. To go deeper in knowing what made them come to the hospital is by reaching a good rapport; which needs an art. But rapport alone will not be maintained because they (the patients) see you as an idiotic doctor who comes to bother them in language they cannot understand. I have encountered one patient, an old lady having obsessive-compulsive disorder. She was fine at first, after an hour speaking to her, both in my broken Hindi and English, she got irritated. She asked me for an advice on how to make her get rid off the obsessive thoughts she was having.

Her problem was that she continued being worried that she's being contaminated with her own urine after having that nature calls. She wasted pails of water just to make sure her bathroom is clean after using it. It was so severe that her family members started to notice. She also had this weird feelings that a well (a perigi) inside her room was going to pull her inside. As in to let her drown. She thus cannot sleep in her own room and felt so scared when ever she walked passed the room. She also thinks her hands were dirty - contaminated with urine, so she did not want to cook. The whole family needed to eat at restaurants each day. It was an interesting case of severe OCD. But when my professor took her version of history, the story was different. Well, actually half of the story I got was correct only that perhaps the patient got irritated because she was wanting to tell me about her other problems which was she heard voices of her sister in law who's already dead, but I couldn't understand. I started to give her advice on keep on praying to God, which I know silly but it's the best I can tell her that time. I didn't realize it was a wrong advice until I read her file which wrote she had troubles in praying because she was feeling rather unhygienic for such holy rituals. Bummer!

And on last monday, I actually volunteered myself to have an examination earlier than scheduled. Dr Antonio was rather spontaneous when he said examination was going to held that afternoon rather on the next Tuesday. Because I already pumped with two cases in my head, I quickly raised my hand in order to volunteer; and so I did. To my surprise the fifth year also had their exams on that afternoon, and they wanted to present the SAME cases I wanted to present. It was such an annoyance. I went to the ward an hour earlier to clerk a new patient. Like always, it was Monday, thus there were only like 10 beds full of patients. The male nurse then told me to clerk a patient named Rajkumar because the first on my list was rather mute. Yeah! in Psychiatry you will come across a mental disorder whereby the sufferers will be mute and rather not talk to you!

Rajkumar was a bank accountant, knew a little English but thought he was rather superior than me. I thought he was going to be cooperative so it'd be easy to clerk him. I was totally wrong. Because he was manic he seemed to be smiling but rather deep down inside, he was actually quite irritable. To attain rapport was hard enough. I called a male nurse to help me with history taking. He then said it was hard to take from Rajkumar as he said I was giving him tension headache. I was probably the 10th student who came up to him to clerk him hence he was irritated. The only thing I got was his 5years history of bipolar disorder. Details of each I was not able to get and clarify, I was absolutely a dead meat by then.

At 3 pm that afternoon, I was rather scared because I did not complete my history of presenting illness. I cannot get the true chronology of what was happening to Rajkumar in exact. Most of the details I simply 'goreng'. Despite the things that gone wrong, Allah had definitely gave me the strength to overcome that useless fright of having to present a case in front of the other members of the posting group. Can't thank Allah enough. Alhamdulillah:)

Phew...now it's already the third posting. Neuromedicine starting tomorrow. Then obstetrics and gynaecology where the true stress and hectic will emerge ahahahhaha! Upon all, I am enjoying the starting of clinical years. My posting members are great, they are all tolerable and kind. I enjoyed having kak amalia, che mas, athira mazli, ryan, nadia, marlyana, een and everyone in the posting though. Hope we can survive till the end without conflicts. InshaAllah:)

>>p/s: posting this down because Nik Syakirah ahahaha. She asked how come I haven't blog anything in these past moments. Well yeah, things changed. But I think I'll restart blogging for now. I've always love to blog<<

Vogue?

One fine day my brother went a bit friendly and started to share a story. It was a story told by his chem lecturer in college. It goes like this:

A man went into 7 eleven. He looked at the magazine rack but couldn't find the one he wanted to buy.

He then asked the casher,

"Hey, are there any VOGUEEEE here? (with a pronunciation GUUUUU)

"VOGUUUU? Sorry sir, no VOGUUUU here. But we have VOGUE magazine. (pronunciation with silent U and E).

The man exclaimed: "Well that's what I am looking for lah! VOGUUUU"

The casher replied: "OH! It is called VOGUE not VOGUUUU"

The man who became irritated :

"OK! I don't want to ARGGG with you now. Let me pay that!"

The casher could just laughed and said : "Well it's ARGUE sir"

"WHATEVERR!" and the man dashed away.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Everyone in the car laughed. Because if VOGUE is pronounced with silent U and E, the man thought so does ARGUE.

Suddenly, among the midst of laughter, Mom asked:

"What kind of car is ARGG??"

hahahah

p/s: if no comprehende....ignore this :p

Realiti USMKLE: For Freshie on VISA application

Alhamdulillah and congratulations to all our future juniors who are already confirmed with MARA for the sponsorship. We welcomed you the world full of surprises. HAHAHA.

So before you guys come to India, a visa is a compulsory 'ticket' to allow you to enter this country full of magic.

I don't know how about you guys, but during my time, the ONLINE VISA APPLICATION form was obtained from the same page as the website where you guys applied for USMKLE.

You just fill up the form till it complete, then print it....and one thing you have to go to the Indian Visa Center to get your visa ready. Oh, please bring along your original USMKLE offer letter as well as your passport. And while putting your signature to any documents during the application process at the center, make sure all your signature are of the similar pattern. Just don't be that kelam kabut. Do things one at a time :)

You must sign up for the STUDENT VISA. The fees is about RM 301 during my time. I would put the link to the Malaysia's Indian Visa Center for you to do all the work. There are maybe some things changed for these past 2 years.

INDIAN VISA CENTRE IN MALAYSIA

And for those who are not in Kuala Lumpur area, here is the link to the addresses in some other cities for the center. Collection for the VISA is usually a week after you go and make one, so yeah, be patient :)

Makan bukan senang

Hai peeps.

Guess what? In less than a month, I really made this start of year 2 as enjoyable. First is attending the hiking thing with the other coursemates in Kudremukh; and secondly; for joining the Aids Day trip to Pune. The trip to Pune was so relaxing. Had Prof KJ escorting us all along, and oh God, he's so sporting!

Basically, the original idea to visit Pune was to go to its Aids Research Center at a place I don't actually remember where, but it is called Nari. There, we saw exhibition and go all about Aids; how it is infected and how is it being diagnosed and how to prevent it. Actually, our trip was thought to start at 3.30 am on that Saturday; instead; the buses came exactly at 5 am. So, the trip to Pune which was 6 hours from Belgaum; resulting in all of us reaching to Pune quiet late while the Aids Day has already shuts its doors.

Haha. But while patiently waiting for the bus in the midst of cold morning; we asked Prof KJ how would the plan be if we arrived to Pune a bit late? He said: "Then we just head ourselves to the sight seeing site!" How cool is that? Hahahha

The buses we boarded were the first of a Non-airconditioned bus. However, it didn't bother us since along the way; it was freezing upon letting the outside air to come in. I had to sleep with gloves on my hands; couldn't stand the coldness. It was a semi-sleeper bus, but due to many whom with withdrew to follow on the last minute; we conquered most the free available seats and made a crony at the very back seat. Hihihi

Continuously awaken during the trip because the bus driver simply didn't have that basic idea of where we were supposed to go. I think almost 6 times I woke up and then sleep again. Then we reached to a small hotel which I forgot its name. Only an hour was given to get ready, to shower and to perform salah. The breakfast of toast and omelette that we were supposed to have has turn into our lunch instead. We arrived there at 12.30 pm.

Did I mention that Pune has this really awesome shopping center. The name they called it Phoenix City Market, but woah, it's like a baby version of midvalley. I went to Zaraa to actually perform my prayers in the fitting room. Since we can't just go to the fitting room, my buddy and I grabbed this amazing silhouette trench coats and further headed to the fitting rooms. After solah, we tried on those beautiful trench coats, mine was red, and my buddy wore the white. I prefer red since it looked more bold. The price was affordable if we had our allowances that time. It was just 5000 rupees ! Other stores had the trench for 10 thousand rupees at least. It was so devastating that we had to act snobbish and put back the coats.

Prof KJ and our warden Madam Vidya just gave us an hour and a half to stroll around the mall to find for food. Yet it ended up, we spent 2 hours there. After some dinner with momo, window shopping here and there, we finally made an exile whereby Prof and Madam Vidya both were there, asking us to walk faster, the bus was there waiting. It feels like a school trip once again, but in a more fun way. Bad news on the bus we heard was, another bus got smuggled. We were relieved that none of our belongings went missing.

Travelling via the non-AC seated bus in Pune was gooood. We didn't feel uncomfy at all since Pune was very temperate. The road was rocky of course but we slept somehow. Finally, reach the wonderful place called Mahabaleshwar. It was freezing!! We must do some hiking a bit to reach our bungalow. It was 2 am that time. Freezing and all sleepy-headness, we fastened ourselves to the bungalow. It was such a nice place. For girls, a room was for 6. It was just for one night, but they provided us with good beds and matresses, with hot water too! That morning, we had a purdy breakfast of soft bread with omelette. Yummy!!

By 9 am we started to find for good strawberry farm to visit. Sadly, most of the farms had their strawberries still ungrown. We ended up dipping into fresh fruits and cream. Mine was mulberry with cream, cost around RS110. Others dipped into strawberries with cream of course. But that was too mainstream. LOL. I sat a table where Prof KJ and Madam Vidya were also there. Prof said something that amazed me, which was:

"When we're in a holiday; doesn't matter whose late whose not, just relax and enjoy!"

WOHA! You heard this from a deputy dean hahaha. Gosh. He's so sporting when it comes to sight seeing. Like his style so much though. Then we went to this place where there's a chocolate factory as well as flowers. Took some time enjoying the flowers, bough a kilogram of strawberries, and headed up for lunch. So this is the part I want to emphasize. The Mahabaleshwar Lunch. Jeng4x...

Someone who had been to this place, suggested to have lunch at a hotel. The hotel is very extravagant from the outside, almost like a Greece-kinda look. We went inside this quite-luxurious looking hotel. Everyone got their seats and asking for the menu. The interesting part was that the restaurant served ham and bacon. We waited like a log, then knowing some of the students who were in charge for the trip, was discussing some things with main waiter. One person who discovered that the hotel served bacon and ham, went to see the other students who were discussing to tell that the place served such things that we cannot eat. But it was weird when they emphasized more on the fact that the chef wasn't there and they said that the restaurant didn't serve those food for six months already. Oh please!!

On the first place, it was a mistake to bring two buses full of students to such a luxurious luncheon place where one dish cost up to 400 Rupee. Secondly, it was so bizarre that the fact on the haraam food wasn't been taken into priority when it comes to consumption. Even if the restaurant didn't serve the ham and bacon for six months, then they really did proper washing (according to Syara') for the utensils and the plates? It was more bizarre that those who were discussing regarding the chef were supposed to be the ones who lead Islamic discussion groups back at college.

After some conversation, some did object saying that in a place where there's no other choices, where the place do serve pork and then we don't have a choice, then it's okay to dine. But may I clarify, that sort of thinking only applies if we are staying or living at a place where, true, there's no other choice but THAT restaurant alone. Obviously, there are many other restaurants that served halal food like the one we had fresh fruits with cream before. Like a briyani stall one of us said was available at that time. I just want to say that we are staying in India where halal food isn't that hard to be found. Not like in those countries in Europe; where choices are limited.

Don't play when it comes to food preparation and food consumption. Don't simply make Islam as that simple when other choices are there. The better choice is to have the most halal food there is whenever possible. Don't make our lust for food as a reason to dwell into something sinful. What we eat becomes our flesh, and our flesh is also our 'soul' that we use in everyday life to serve ourselves as servant to dear Allah AlMighty. Just wish that people take this as serious as possible, regarding food consumption.

We ended up not to eat at that lavish restaurant and went back to our bungalow to pray and get things ready to go back to Belgaum. Another 6 hour journey and we were all hungry. Prof and Madam Vidya was kind enough to find for a good veg restaurant along the way, and alhamdulillah we found one. It was 10 pm and we reached to a RNR-kinda place where we can choose to have veg or non-veg dinner. We chose veg though, because we are cool! Lol.

Last thing we did was to play at a playground nearby where Prof KJ also played. Hahahhaa! Cool isn't it. Contented and enjoy: we finally reached Belgaum at 5 am that other morning. How fun life is isn't it?

Coming back to sense

Alhamdulillah to dear Allah Al Mighty for all his blessings and rizq till now. One important thing is settled: moving in to the new USM Hostel as well as having a new roommate. Her parents gave her the name of Nurul Adibah binti Abdul Rahman, she's a year older than me, graduated from the prestigious IB college KMB and she has a blog actually. One thing I like about her, is her appearance of coolness and boldness as well as outspoken. I wish I had the same way of speaking in public like her, so confident. The English accent uttered through her tongue are just superb and yeah! she's my new roommate. I pray that I won't be exchanging roommates again after this. Let this stay ya Rabb.

We have an oven too now. I am longing to bake and bake! Yay! I really have found a true satisfaction and fondness towards cooking either. And now in the new hostel, I can cook like I have a husband and kids waiting for my dishes. I really love cooking! It's just in the blood for all these while. Just that I haven't had the chance too express this fondness. Now that the kitchen is a bit spacious, with IKEA interior: I just feel like cooking in my own dream house. :)

I will be posting pictures and pictures to let others see what Belgaum is really like. Just I need more time in front of the laptop and keep transferring photos. I have to find time that is. Because looks like schedule have becoming more tight. We are going to clinical side and clerk patients this Wednesday. I am so nervous and excited! I hope I don't scared the patient with my dumb kannada and a little twisted Hindi. Also, I must always note: NEVER to auscultate (must NOT use the stethoscope first); it's regulation. Must always start with inspection :)

Anyhow, just now, all the USMKLE students have safely moving into this new brand unfinished hostel. It was tiring to help them unpack, but there is where ukhwah is truly seen, especially when the boys spent their night to help the girls to bring up their things to the 3rd floor while the elevator is still not installed.

Now, let's sleep. I promise to keep blogging ahahhaha (as if I have readers :P) I tried to enjoy my 2nd year. So must you (in whatever courses you're pursuing in colleges or universities). And always keep smiling even though it's hard to do so.

Brother surpassed me

Assalamualaikum

Have you wonder, how being too good also won't make you feel good? Yeah, I always have the feeling to. Feeling to be distanced away by people, feeling of insecure.

First of all, I really am happy this couple of days because my brother has proven me wrong. HAHA! He got an amazing SPM result, that even I wasn't able to get.

Alhamdulillah for the ease for my brother. He worked hard and he deserved it. He has been a very good and obedient brother and son all this while; I can say everyone loves him so much, and maybe because of the barakah, he got such result:)

Haha! So as a sister who is always busy body, of course I wanna the best for my little brother. I told him to apply for whatever scholarships that are opened for application.

The problem came as he himself doesn't know what he wanna do in the future. Haih, what a brother I have. Frankly, Ridzuan Hanafi Azhar is not a kind of person who is ambitious (like his sister over here), but sometimes being neutral will make our life easier; and it is true.

Mom on the other hand, wanted him to take medicine. His results is too good to be true and mom wants him to do something worth it with the result he had in his hand. I contradicted my mom and told my brother to not take medicine unless if he really is hardworking to study and work as in a team and as in a lone ranger.

He told me that he dislike biology and he doesn't really like reading, thus medicine is definitely not for him. I just don't want him to regret. Skyp-ing with him for a while just now, really showed how I have made a mess in his mind. He seems to haven't find the path he wanna go. His future that is. I am just worried that he might lose the opportunity he should have get. He needs a guidance.

he's in black is the smartass

I really know however, that he wanna be a pilot. Sadly, MAS has stopped recruiting young pilots because of internal management mishaps it faces. Recently, he applied for YTN, but he was dismissed, then he became completely disappointed. He did say he's tired applying for things. I just pity him. He seemed so clueless. I just want him to feel what I don't get to feel. He get such a wonderful gift in his hands, I am sure his future is brighter than me. Just hope he's a little more ambitious.

Kalah Menang

Assalamualaikum people:)

Can you believe that we here had sports day for the past 2 days? Yes! Medical students and sports day are not something bizarre. In fact, I am astonished by the athletic friends and colleagues I have here.

We have an iron lady, which I competed with her in a 100 meter spring racing. And it is ridiculous, because I am barely a person who can sprint, but she (who is in red team), was basically a representer for SUKMA. Can you note my point now? How on earth can a person who is so kayu like me to win the race? Where is justice? And this is why I hate sports sometimes. It's embarrassing to tell readers here about the actual detail during the competition.

But at least, I was lucky because I got second place in single badminton game. And it was super lucky for me actually since I competed with the yellow team's first, whom basically, em did not know how to play. I won the first round, then to get either the first or the second place, I fought with a senior, which was from the Blue Team. She is known for being good at the game among her peers, but isn't as good as my old friend back in high school, whom I used to play with quite often when Chiam was around.

It was a tough fight playing with the Blue Team, but I gave chance to her since I was already pancit. That was a circumstance for not being fit enough. I can say I am proud to contribute some points for my Green House The Pacific Dragons though. Clap clap clap. (*seriously clapping and cheering for myself*)

Okay, so on the first day of Samudra, the green team was so lucky that we were mostly on the first or the 2nd rank. The basketball team won Gold, The netball team won gold too, then we also had the badminton won gold and silver respectively for women's double and men's double and single.

Too bad things weren't that lucky during the second day. The girls barely win anything. Only the boys sprinters got the medals and the points. T___T...also during baling selipar and galah panjang, we lost. Maybe because we lost our spirit as we knew we weren't strong and many of us were injured. At last, we gave chances for the blue team as they barely win anything HAHAHAHAR.

Well, Samudra2012, was a blast I could say. Too bad I am not athletic enough to have participate in netball since Darina said I can't the grip the ball well, also the futsal which em....I was lazying around not coming for the practice. I am so sorry that I have said yes to participate in the 100 meters, which I obviously can't win.

Anyhow, Green Team/Pacific has won the 2nd Place!!! Alhamdulillah:) Hooray!!! Most of the competitors we had were injured badly including our group leader whom I assumed he had spasms of his thigh. The Red team roars like always (like in school) and indeed the red team members are not humans. What did they eat????

not complete. but we are the proud to say we are the PACIFIC DRAGONS!!!

Well too bad some of them went home already:(( BUT WE ROCK!

Masak-masak

Masak-masak is always fun when you know how to cook, know where to get the almost-similar ingredients like what you can get in home sweet home, Malaysia, and to add more, when you have good buddy to rely on to. Who can actually play as your mother and cook for you.

I mostly care about food. Plus, staying in this chilly weather or better cut short as winter, make you growl 24/7. Lapar weh....and the saddest thing of all when you spent RM400 as your monthly meal but every other kids got chicken but you only get a fried egg + some masala powder. T.T. The question is, where is justice.

Muak is another thing. Muak is when you are EXHAUSTED of having the same kind of thing as a routine. I would say now I am already muak with the food at Mess. Everyday the same chicken dishes, the same warm water, the same hard-stony rice and the same unfresh okra and potatoes deep fried. I can't even stand with the briyani nowadays. Although, briyani supposed to be super delicious.

To quit paying RM400 for the food that I am exhausted with is impossible....why? Because USM's deputy dean, who is very much concern that we won't be having enough time to cook, want us to eat there for the entire first year, and probably for the upcoming years till I graduate (*insyaAllah*) According to him, we will get the safest and cleanest food in India at our MESS but he didn't know how we are almost puking eating the repeated thing.

GEEZ...I whine too much even though I must be lucky that my room mate has this terrific but very surprising attitude whereby she will be very eccentric at times and DOOSH, She cooks like a boss! She made nice nasi lemak last week, but her Mihun Goreng, was awful yesterday. But her asam pedas tastes awesome. She also bought some ikan bilis, which is very rare here people....And I am just waiting for her to make up something out of that. LOL.

Apparently, asking mom and dad to send a parcel of things from Malaysia has becoming a nuisance to them. Pity them so much that they have to spend another RM200 for a 4kg parcel just for me. How could I repay their kindness? T.T I miss them damn muchoooo.

Okay....maybe people wanna see some photos out of this blog. Sorry, just that I hate that my Sony E won't work like the former K770I with it's 3.2MP camera. Blame me for choosing the wrong camera-phone!

NASI LEMAK !!! sedapppp

Pabila rajin menjelma

>>P/S: gambar asam pedas tak sempat capture since I was occupied on that day, hanya sempat melahap je. LOL<<

Sejuk is bad actually

Angan-angan zaman kanak-kanak:

Bestnya pergi negara ada salji cam NZ ke, UK ke, US ke, ada salji...boleh buat snowman, baling-baling bebola salji macam Winter Sonata....bestnya kalau sejuk...Malaysia panas sgt!

bestnyeeww!

-Well, those sentences up there are common statement made by US, ME, YOU and I. Malaysia is hot, no doubt. And being in somewhere chilly is good and more comfy. But if it's too chilling then arise another problem.

-Belgaum has reach its peak of winter. No snow of course, but wow, this is super cold. I can presume that it is now 16 degree celcius, which only air conditioner can give such temperature in Malaysia. Ahaks :D

-First, it has been a lot of fun being in this cold weather. However, lately, it has become so cold, that I can't write because my hands feel so cold and my nose when dry and blocked with the dried midst of air. My nose hurts a lot. Such an unpleasant feeling.

-Then, with this very chilly weather, many of my colleagues went sick. Thankfully, all of them have recovered. Prof KJ always asked us to wear proper clothes, and wrap our neck with mafela and such to keep it warm enough, to eat right and etc.

-More cold, more tendency to go hungry. Plus, with the piling up works on the desks, sure the stomach will growl more for food. Thus people eat more, but lack exercising because the weather is so cold!....

Haha. So kids, if you are planning to study here in BELGAUM, please do bring extra warm clothing. Jackets, mafela, and stuff so that you will feel a lot better. Just that the weather here is alternate. The winter is on and off.

>>nak masuk tahun baru dah. here comes 2012. and makin dekat masa mati kita kan? so better be prepared<<

Tengkuk

Assalamualaikum. It's late at night and I crave to post something. So let me be.

Humans eat neck. As in chicken necks. Malaysian, or let me emphasized on malays, do eat necks as in soups, curry, and you named it. I hate necks. Not only that I won't get much of the muscles...eh I mean meat from it, but it is so troublesome to indulge unlike when you eat a drumstick.

And so one day, while discussing with a friend named Rashdan, I got this new information, well for me it's new, about eating necks. Eating necks are bad for males. Why? I don't know. I have to continue doing research on this. Too bad exam is on friday. Dayummn.

Plus, I also came to know that chicken wings are bad for women. Still I have to search for the answer. Rashdan only gave me the trivia. Shoot. So, while I am writing/typing this post on necks, I had just finished my anatomical study on necks. Now I know there are posterior and anterior part of the neck. Okayyy...

To cut this post short as I am still dwelling on Neuromuscular Transmission and wanting to make my coffee before the heated water cools down, posterior part of the neck are further divided into two triangles. Major one is occipital triangle and the minor is the SUPRACLAVICULAR triangle. So, that's the names.

Tengkuk in anatomical view.

Just now, we had MDL. It is just like the similar lecture we had in lecture hall but more effective lecture sessions held in the Sony TV labs, whereby that time the lecture was on this posterior side of the necks, and their contents bla-bla-bla...I focused, but I think most of my mind was in New York already that I mistaken SUPRACLAVICULAR triangle with cervical triangle. And so, I continued noting it down as cervical triangle, drew the diagram and etc like any other nerdies would do.

Soon, when the lecture on it finished, it's time to grab any anatomy lecturers you wanted, and asked them anything where you have doubts. So yeah, I had this doubt on the contents of 'Cervical Triangle'. Note that, cervical triangle doesn't exist. I made it all up. It was on my mind. I asked the lecturer then. With tonnes of other students surrounded us. "Sir, can you explain on cervical triangle's contents please?"

HAHAHA. The lecturer went bizarred. He didn't know any triangles by that name. And yes, I went home ashamed of myself, knowing that I had wrongly named the triangle. HAHAHARARARAR.

>>p/s: Moral of the story, read thoroughly again and again....and make sure you don't 'fly' to New York while lecture in progress. Lol<<

Riding and shopping

The best way to go shopping is no way by cab nor LRT or KTM. We usually go out of this hostel, and took some time wandering to the nearest shopping spot called Maruthi Gali via AUTO...or they called it OTO. A modified motorcycled with 4 seats at the back.

Depends on whether you look rich or vice versa, you will get the best rate as best as 40 rupees per ride...but sometimes it depends on the distance. Here I have a video which I lamely captured almost two weeks ago. So, just watch it and enjoy:)

Don't Stop Believing

I need a new phone is better said that I WANT A NEW PHONE. Frankly to say, I have not enough money YET to purchase any phones that I like. BUT, we must never stop believing that we can one day muahaha.

Been wanting a smart-phone. Because I wanna feel smart? Em, no actually, it is all because I want to be compatible with most phones my friends are using. My old one is cikai. Sony Ericson K770i which is metallic purple in surface and was once upon a time my beloved baby because it's camera seems superb to a noob like me. Sadly, not anymore. The keypads are becoming worse day to day. I can't text messaging with ease, its software had been reformat by some Chinese conman, making me lost my RM30 for him to turn my phone into more cikai than I ever could imagine. I can no longer send MMS either. How bad is that. For me it's a disaster actually. Not to mention, no WiFi ability. So, it would be harsh if I were to go somewhere far from home, and yet cannot connect most of my virtual friends and families.

Em so, yesterday, I was thinking to purchase Samsung Galaxy S from a friend. But, no warranty, thus I cancel the plan. Maybe buying a new one, seems nice. The price has dropped a bit though...just waiting for it to drop even further.

Super nice if it is in WHITE.

DISPLAYTypeSuper AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors
Size480 x 800 pixels, 4.0 inches
 - Gorilla Glass display
- TouchWiz 3.0 UI
- Multi-touch input method
- Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate
- Touch-sensitive controls
- Proximity sensor for auto turn-off
The best thing is, it has a better screen compared to Iphone. WAHAHA. More vivid more fun. Bluetooth is also accessible to other phones, compared to Iphone which is super hard to connect with other phones' brands. Same goes to Blackberries.

But if I were to save a little bit more, I would or can buy this:

Also a bit dropped in price

And this one is simply mesmerizing. What not the price, but cheaper than Iphone 4 for sure. Some nice specifications:

You can read it HERE: SAMSUNG GALAXY S II

What not, it has :

Dual Core Application Processor
Making the impossible possible. Samsung Dual Core Application Processor is the ultra responsive answer to mobile performance, providing high-speed multitasking, quick web page loading, quick reaction speeds, a smoother UI, lightning fast image editing and high performance gaming. Seamless video or music streaming gets a big boost with the super fast wireless standard HSPA 21Mbps. Outstanding computing power, outstanding performance.

-Need this, for SPEED. I just hate slow, stuck phones. Like mine. T..T It hurts, the thumbs hurt by pressing too hard.

Readers Hub
 Readers Hub
Leave the bookshelf at home. the Samsung GALAXY S II has it in hand. Readers Hub is a great place to flip through your library of classics or browse for best sellers with over two million to choose from, but you'll also be able to set up some 2,500 magazines in 20 languages and 1,600 of newspapers in 47 languages for delivery. Crisp, sharp text makes reading a pleasure and easy to manage, with magnify, text only and page views, audio access, and more as well as one touch sharing via email. Believe in books, but look beyond paper.

-I also love this, as I am of course a VIVID reader. So as a VIVID reader, I need a VIVID phone. HEHEHEXD

Okay, I think I have made it clear why I WANNA this phone. Thanks to Doc Faisal to actually introduce me to this. In love already. But, unfortunately, I need a some times to actually save up. Which I am afraid to say, I can only purchase this by next year. Thus, I need to use my old purplish metallic Sony for now. EMMM....

Raya Cookies, anyone?

Assalamualaikum and Salam 1INDIA hehehehehe XD

I know not many of us would put Raya Cookies on their priorities during AildilFithri. And they are not what people most look for during open houses, but seriously, Raya cookies put a very great benefit as a whole.

Usually, when small kids from the neighborhood come to my house, meanwhile my parents are not at home, plus I have nothing to serve them, Raya cookies will be my last resort to give them. Mom always said that kids who come for Raya don't really wanna eat or drink, they just wanna duit raya.

Ok, as I was saying, today I spent boredom with something I couldn't do everyday. Baking Raya Cookies is fun and almost can be considered as Malay's Tradition when Aildilfitri is looming. Sadly, I have no talent whatsoever to do or make special complicated cookies like Pine Apple tarts or Almond London. I just have talent to make simple Conflakes Madu cookies - which if I make them for one whole small container, it can be vanished in just ONE day.

Almost every Raya, I make this cookies. The simplest raya cookies in the whole universe. HAHA. And the most important thing: It's very delicious.

YUM YUM <3

with LOVE

*Cough3*

Ingredients:

1 Big Bowl of Kellog's Cornflakes

3 Spoonful of Planta/Butter

2 Spoonful of Sugar

One Bowl of Honey

Methods:

Heat the wok with slight flame. Heat the butter till half melts. Add in the 2 spoonful sugar, stir till everything melts altogether. Pour in the honey. Let everything mix well. Pour all the Cornflakes in. Using a spatula, mix everything up till all the flakes covered with the honey gravy. Turn off the flame. Let it cool for 2 minutes under normal air. And start putting them inside small paper cups. Beautify them with sprinkles of LOVE hehehe. Then, put in the oven, and heat them for 10 minutes at 110 Degree Celcius.

Once ready, Voilaa...enjoy:)

In Between Ramadan

Jaundice. Due to liver illness. Miss discussing on liver disease with SGS Group 11 during Pre Medicine at USA. Memory remains. This is one nice interactive knowledgeable game one can find online. Could be boring towards the end and confusing due to lots of medical terms and diseases plus symptoms which can be quite similar from one to another. HAHAHA. But I found myself a bit obsessed. Hope this obsessive last till the day I die. InsyaAllah.

No need to register, no need to pay. Play it all free at Kongregate.com. Or just google Medical School Game and voi'la happy learning !! Takyah nak jadi doctor pun boleh...:)

Khayra and I

Khayra Amani is my cute niece whose photo is on my FB profile because of her cuteness

nakalll

A month ago, I was badly ill. Almost like dying seriously. My bronchitis was severe. I couldn't even talk. Even I myself thought that I could not continue Premed, but AlhamduliLLAH Allah made it smooth till the end.

Photogenic and photogedik. Simply irresistible.

Mak teh picked me up from Kolej Mawar and brought me back to her home. Her home is like my second home and she is Khayra's grandmom.

I was taken care by Mak teh and my cousins like a princess seriously. Glad to have them. They made me porridge and let me sleep in this comfy bedroom.

THE GOOD NEWS was....Khayra Amani was there too:) I was so happy, when she asked me, "Demam ke?"

Then, she put her hand on my forehead to feel the warmness, and she exclaimed. "WAHH PANASHHNYA!"

Khayra then offered me the porridge and she herself got drooled, so she ate it with me. HAHAHHA.

She then again, asked me this question:

"Doktor pun boleh demam?"

I answered,

" A'ah...kesiankan?" (padahal belum doktor lagi)

She asked again,

"Kalau doktor demam, sapa nak bagi ubat"

I answered,

"Tak taulaa....kesiankan..."

I then asked her,

"Khayra nak jadi apa besar nanti?"

She answered,

"Aya nak jadi princess...tengok rambut Aya. Panjang cam princess"

Aduhai memang tuan puteri betul. Dah laa comel. Geram sangat :D

Then she continues..

"Tapikan....Aya nak jadi doktor jugak laa....boleh rawat orang...hehehehheheXD"

We laughed out loud together. Sambil makan bubur :)

Changes

Life is keen for changes. And similar fact goes to the cyber world.

Yesterday morning, as I woke up from a very good night sleep, I found a change on the blogger. The dashboard is now new and it is the second change made by the administrators. My comment on it? Well, better than the first change lol.

Then, this morning, as I woke up, Facebook got a new FB chat. It can now imply video calls. But it meant nothing to me actually since I rarely do video calls. I prefer typing and not seeing the other persons while chatting. HeheheXD. Because you know,  for girls it would be a drench to grab head covers or shawls just to see someone online.

Other changes are I myself, who happened to feel this blossom of gratefulness and syukur to Allah S.W.T, for HE has planned the best destiny for me from the start. Attending Asasi had somehow put me now to where I can hold on: to many friends whom I can consider as some of the best things that ever occurred in my life.

I have Dina Azureen- who is always funny and a good laughter-kind-of person. I can tell her almost anything and she would listen. It's great to have one funny person who could tell simple stories, but still it felt like the stories are some kind of comedies. Thanks Dina Azureen for everything. You will be flying to Bandung to further your medical degree. Alhamdulillah Dina. I am happy for you.

I have Dina Syafiqah - who kindly our best manager in the group. Always the best 'planner' among us. And the best driver. You too goodluck at Puncak Alam's UiTM once again for another 4 years of Pharmaceutical studies. Hehehe ;D

I have Azneeza Manan - who I called her Jija. She's the most slumber person yet but still the brightest. Always the fun ones and loves watching horror movies and odd movies. She terrifies us with her weird way of eating but still that would make us have the good laugh together. Naissseee...;D

I have Nurul Ashikin - who I adore for her patience and kindness. We used to hang out in her room at Puncak Alam every wednesday for girly girls' movie. She's a true friends for anything, and so adorable too. Too bad I couldn't accompany her to ronda-ronda KL, due to several reasons. emm sad..

I have Eisya Aiman - a very calm lady who is cute enough to just prick her cheeks. Just got her P license which marked that everyone in the troops of girls already have the license except me. T.T. She's so funny and eat a lot yet maintaining those super plywood figure. A jealousy-factor indeed.

I have Eliza Lehan- a quite bossy person yet so fun to be with. With lots of experience working and experience in life. The most responsible person I ever met, and so diligent. A total leader!

I have last but not least the cute Azyan Amani - a very lovable person who is the strongest person I know. Lost her mom recently, but she gave us this example to stay cool and strong at whatever conditions we pursued. Always tell me that being a dentist is better by mentioning about dentists can wear high heels but doctors can't. hahaha. A very sarcastic person too, and can be spontaneously funny. Love her a lot!

I have Naqib - one of the guys both I firstly met online and in real life, who still on the go to have this friendship with me. A doctor to be too, who is now busy preparing for his A Level exam and IELTS- and going to pursue medicine in India. Met him first during asasi, and it was sad to see he left. But I was glad the friendship does not stop. He is a very good motivator and always my hub of advice as well as information regarding scholarships and such. Glad to know him and met him:)

I have Doc- who is now a fresh medical doctor. Just returned to Malaysia from the Soviet Land. A nice guy who I have met both online and real life. And always there when boredom strikes, well sometimes. And always on the go giving those spirits to keep moving on with the madness of wanting to be a medical student. Hahaha:D

There are indeed a lot more friends I would like to mention here, but just save it for later. Above are the girls who inspire me in everything they do, and how they act. I love everyone's personalities and they are the ones who support me in and out besides Allah and my parents. I am lucky to be part of them, it's an honour.

meaning of A+

Ok. This post tells you readers how 'stress' the form five batch gonna be this year. That includes my brother of course.

Last Sunday, I happily and willingly eager to follow mum and dad to SM Sains Tuanku Munawir or previously known as SASER. Objective was simple; to fetch my brother's previous mid-year exam slip.

Brother in magenta, with dad in white, heading to meet the teachers

We were kinda late since every classes were crowded with parents and family members. Altogether, we took about two hours and managed to meet almost all the teachers except for his math teacher and Ustaz.

Not to boast, but my brother turned out to score quite well even though he did flunk compared to last year's. He is now at the 18th spot in the overall 100++ form five students in the school. Not bad considering that he's now at Saser. He managed to get 2nd place in his class and the boy who was at the first spot in his class managed to beat other boys and consistently at his comfort zone of being on the very top of the scorers.

Teachers mostly aimed big. At boarding schools, usually, teachers would spoon fed you. And it depends on how hard you did your revision to enable you to score good marks. Frankly, my brother didn't score a straight A's and he did worse in Bahasa Inggeris which made all of us quite shocked. But I am not that 'afraid' and 'concern'. Because, you see, mostly, students won't show their true colors during normal exams but will turn to roaring lions and score so well at the real examination.

My parents were quite relieved to hear that my brother has not that much of a problem regarding disciplines and focus. Just that he like many others would sometimes fall asleep, and that is normal for teenage boys at boarding schools. Teachers asked my brother to aim for A+ and at least A. Even A- these days won't bring you 'nowhere'. They somehow frightened him, I could see in his eyes. Adding up to the fact that he's now among the line of boys who are being nominated as potential scorers.

'Score A+ wan...and scholarships come kneeling to you' -- this is ALMOST how the teachers sounded. At the same time, my brother looked scared.

the boring and sad face of a 17 year old SPM candidate

The best thing happened to me at his school was that teachers kept noting me as my brother's little sister meanwhile I am the eldest. Funny though because I usually looks like someone's mother. :P HEHE

And knowing how hard it is for my brother to hold that position right now, make I pity him. Boarding school has surely changes him to the better. Better in the sense of his studies. troop of friends and also social skills. It makes me happy seeing him there. At least, he will be having one Alma Mater to brag about once he leaves. Hahaha.

A+ for core sciences subjects are tougher than anyone could ever imagine. Even I myself failed to obtained those pluses. Just pray that he could. He has the potential. And I'll pray for his best every single seconds.

>>>p/s: relax bro. 3 more months, then enjoy your heart out. You will be drown with boredom AHAHA. By the way, his Biology teacher told him to be a doctor, but he himself said NO<<<

Sabah Detour: almost like Going Overseas

Assalamualaikum people who are kind enough to open one tab to actually read what I post. Thanks a lot for not making my effort to blog a waste. Anyhow, I miss blogging wherever I go, and have been quite a long time since I last post anything.

AlhamduLiLLAH to Allah Almighty Lord for allowing me to join 4 other friends to detour Sabah. We planned early since our foundation at Puncak Alam, whereby Chrystine our Sabahan girlfriend was eagerly inviting us to visit her place in front of the math lecture hall at dear UiTM Puncak Alam. Firstly, Sara Salleh, Balqis Isa together with Azneeza Manan and Nurul Ashikin were about to tag along, but they cancelled on the bit of the last minute due to parents' objection and some due to the fact that they are now working. Therefore, only Azyan Amani, Dina Azureen, Eliza Amira, the group leader; Dina Syafiqah and I who managed to say YES for the adventure. Hehehe :D

Chronology of our Adventure

1. Woke up as early at 5 AM to get ready with things to bring along was a drench after a while of not doing so. Flight to Sabah was at 9 am but it is a must for everyone who are going on board to reach early to the airport in case of anything. Our take of was at LCCT as we took the airbus 3220 Air Asia to hoar like bird to the Land Below The Wind.  And my dad and I were the first among my friends to reach at LCCT so we headed to MCD for breakfast. As we finished, the others finally arrived with their respective dads and mom except for Eliza who came with Dina.

9 am we boarded into the plane whereby we only afford to pay for the economy seats, but still they were comfy. On the plane, there was a birthday surprise for a little girl named Nurin who turned 6. She got a buffet voucher at Residence Hotel KL. Then there was a game where we can get the same voucher, the question was how many seats are there on the plane. The clue was there are 31 rows and each row has 6 seats, so how many?? can you count? The answer is 180...:P How did it turned that way? Well, it's in the pamphlets.

Two hours of a boring flight, finally landed on at Terminal 2 Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA). We were escorted by our tour guide name Abang Yus which until now my friends tend to fond him. -.-'

We were astonished by the Sabah bluish clean beach and seawater. Reached Kota Kinabalu the capital and it looked rather 'tak membangun' compared to here in Semenanjung. We searched for our hotel to shelter ourselves from hot sun and wet rainy days. And I found it first! City Park Inn was the place where we stayed for 5 days 4 nights. It was definitely The amazing '5 star' budget hotel we afford to stay in.

Quiet shocked with the room we got. Superbly 'JUST NICE' for the 5 of us. A double decker and two queen beds. But then, the aircond started to turn lunatic and made us sweating all over during the second day after visiting the Islands. So they gave us another room which was a bit smaller T.T. Oh yeah that night we managed to get Chrystine to join in. She can drive superbly although with manual. I felt little T.T. She was kind enough to attend us and brought us to dine at a nice place which I forgot its name but it was somewhere at the Double Six thingy. Yeah blame me for the ignorance T.T. Oh yes, she also brought us to Tanjung Aru that night for some chill out. Yet no close pictures with her since I didn't bring my camera. What ler....-,-'

2. Day two we headed towards the Islands. Pulau Sapi and Pulau Manukan. Not that far from Kota Kinabalu, around 20 minutes by super fast boat. The journey was amazing. Rasanya yang paling syok kut. Pulau Sapi was spectacular, boleh snorkelling sampai lebam, since we were provided with yellow goggles and life jackets. Seriously we can see and touch the fishes ! But stingray and sharks are a No No. We can only pass the spots with green balls if I wasn't mistaken. The others are dangerous, tempat bot lalu.

Oh at Pulau Sapi we met with this Sabahan guy who happened to be a rescuer. He moved around with a kayak and invited us to follow him to the middle of the sea. Only one person was allowed to follow him at once, I was the last one. So yes, I followed him, he brought me in the middle of the sea where corals more clearly. He told me I better dipped in to touch the corals and see more fishes. I hesitated but then he said I need no worry since I had the life jacket on. So yes, I dipped in, but got troubles with my goggles whereby the salty water kept rushing into my nose. It bothered me to dip deeper. When I tried to get back into the kayak, the rescuer tried to pull me up but he fell too. Hahahaha! The kayak went upside down. It was terrifying. I supported my upper body to the kayak but my I tend to step onto one big-rough coral reef. I was  scared, my feet bleed, but I managed to get onto the kayak at last. He brought me back to the shore. My friends were scared when they saw what happened from far. They thought I drowned. Alhamdulillah everything was super alright. God gives me another life!

After a heavy lunch which contains lotsa seafood and meats, we went for a banana boat riding. I think the ride was a bit too much for rm 40 per person. Bila balik Selangor, my dad told me you can get the ride for rm5 at Port Dickson. But hey here's the difference. At Pulau Sapi we had the ride in the middle of the blue sea, if I were to do it at PD, it can only be done near to the shore. Tak best ler ye dak?

Next was Pulau Manukan, and here is where you can find Taman Tunku Abd Rahman. Basically the beach and the sea are of the same kind of Pulau Sapi. But here. there's some chalets to rent for those who intend to stay overnight, but not us.

3. Started early at 8 am for a trip to Gunung Kinabalu and Poring Hotspring. The journey was a bit harsh with roads happened to be so narrow and berbelit2. Make sure bring along a plastic bag to puke if you might have road drunk. Anyhow, it was fun shopping at the Kundasang shopping spot, the prices are lower than that at Phillipines Market. Sadly, when we reached there, had some money deficit. So can't buy whatever we wanted even though the prices are better.

Arrived at Poring Hotspring around 11 something in the morning. It's hot here. Hot tubs are everywhere but some are not functioning and dirty. Many tourists especially the Chinese and Koreans. The water from the spring happened to be milky like milk when you try to collect it in your hands. And yes, the water is super hot, good for skin. Berendam lama pun takpe asalkan bayar RM 3.

Bored with hot water, my friends then wanted to try the river and the waterfall. We trekked the narrow pathway of the jungle to the nearest one which located around 400 m from the hot tubs. And wearing only a flip flop slipper my feet became easily tired. Sore people! While other friends wore shoes T.T this what happened if you forgot to bring a pair of sneakers or sport shoes...

The journey was super tiring. My friends were excited because the waterfall as if it belongs to us alone. No one else was at the spot. So yeah, it was worth a walk.

Done with solat and etc, we headed to a Chinese Restaurant for lunch. It was included in our package. The place was nice but doubtful whether they served HALAL or not. Mom advised me to be extra careful even though the workers seemed like muslims wearing veils on their heads. There's no halal logo except for a saying says 'No Pork Served'. T.T. The dishes came late and we were mocking hungry. The food was extremely sedap but the portion was too little until after 2 hours later we felt hungry again. T.T

It was raining quite heavily and add up to the cold weather, I was shivering. Not only that I forgot to bring along a pair of closed shoes but I also tend to leave my sweater at home. Thanks to the extra fat, it helped me to overcome the chill and Azyan told me to transfer some to Dinas who is damn thin. Hehehe. I told you being fat somehow beneficial.

Visited a market full with fruits and vegies. Couldn't buy any vegies because we can't cook in our hotel. Bought some cut fruits, sadly the fruits started to smell funny the next day and we realised how we lost RM 5 for the fruits. TSK TSK. Back home, mom advised, next time, buy fruits with their skins on and not the cut ones. I repent, mom. hehee.

Kabus menghalang pemandangan yang cantik. Well, my mom said the mountain looks nice in the morning midst. Unfortunately, we arrived at the spot in the mid day, thus the view jeopardized a bit. We went up till the veranda where the tourguide told us that it is actually a place where you would get your permit to climb up. And of course we didn't manage to climb up because it needs another RM 400 for that, plus we had no suitable attires on. No wonder the climbers stared at us strangely.

Took another 3 hours to reach Kota Kinabalu. It was nauseous along the journey. But before we went to sleep, we took our night out to the Night Market which located at the back block of our hotel. One more shopping spot, to find beads, more pearls and some GOLOK branded stuff. Not interesting though.

4. Paid another RM 170... TSK TSK...seriously too expensive...for what? For our one day experience to see the Monyet Belanda and fireflies. At first, the tour guide, Mr Yus, recommended us to go for rafting. I felt scared because the main reason I had no other clothes to wear since my wet attire went missing blew by the wind. But then, I didn't know by what chance that we ended up paying the same amount for the river cruise.

We headed to a place called Sungai Kias if I wasn't mistaken, took a boat to a cruise in the middle of the river and spent the whole afternoon and half our evening on it. The cruise was okay....we did see the monyet belanda with the long red nose but we mostly saw their buttocks on the tall trees. Tried to captured it into photos, sadly, they became quite blurred since we viewed from far. At night, we had seafood and rice for dinner, which was delicious. Did see fireflies but not as blazingly lighten as what I saw in the TNB ad on TV ....tsk tsk. One thing that happened was that, my friend managed to catch one firefly and put it inside a bottle, plus there's one which followed us into the van to KK.

5. Last day of our vacation we had no good activities to mention. Spent longer time to sleep till brunch hours and packed our things up to return to Peninsular. We needed to check out at 1 pm but the tour guide would only pick us up to the terminal at 6 pm. We left our handful luggages at the receptionist, planned to walk around town but it rained heavily. Sat down at the lobby where thank GOD there's HBO. Watched Anaconda for a whole while waiting for the rain to stop. Then we had lunch at one mamak restaurant called Mohaidin something even though Eliza and Dina wanted to have KFC Cheesy Wedges. I insisted to go to mamak because I thought the price will be lower but I was wrong. The mamak taukey cheated and everyone's food cost RM6.50 even though some of us took lesser food than the other. Sorry guys!!

Fulled with nice lunch, we then took a walk to the wet market to find prawns for Dina. We were actually searching for the Sunday Market but ended up taking pictures by the sea. Gone for another last shopping spree at the Phillipines Market. Needed to quench our thirst, we went down the food bazaar next to the Phillipines' Market where you can get many grilled food and fresh coconut juices. Sat down for some drinks and then walked again to find the prawns but no prawns were found nearby the food stalls. Dina wanted to buy prawns at the first shop we stopped by but sadly the shop closed. She looked rather down so we continue the adventure for prawn seeking. At last, Alhamdulillah she found one shop nearby the KK Big Market and bought prawns with a big smile on the face. We were glad.

At 5 pm, Mr Yus arrived to pick us up to the terminal. Before that, he was kind enough to bring us to the beach near Sutera Harbour and next time if you have more money, you can rent and stay at the five star hotels around Sutera Harbour, said myself to myself. Hahahah. Took our last memoir photos with MR Yus by the beach but we were a bit frustrated not to visit the Bajau Laut houses which floats on the sea water. Maybe next time...

Our flight boarded off to KL around 9 pm, with Air Asia. And we bid farewell to Sabah and its people. It has been awesome, especially with our friends along. I sat with Azyan Amani on the flight, but the others sat quite far at the back so the 2 hours flight seemed a bit boring without the other three girls. Hahaha.

Finally, we needed to go home fast since the parents were already waiting at the terminal. My dad and mom and sister were there since 9 pm so they nagged me for lateness. Couldn't hide the bad feeling had to leave my friends, the ever good friends I had. Hope to see them all again next time. Insha Allah.

>>>p/s: to be continued, tips for BETTER holidays. Something I learn myself from my mistakes, T.T<<<
