Regresa Mi

Assalamualaikum

It has not been a great day, a great week and a great month. Embarking into a new place was exciting, but now it's not exciting as it was before. Sorry that I might seem not to be thankful but I have been more prone to remember of the past. I am just a person who is hard to let go of things; what more the things I have develop love with.

In a flash, without I am realising, selanjar 3/continuous assessment 3 is looming any minute with 4 big topics to cover. Still, the mood to start doing something has decelerated. Maybe, at one point, there's time you will feel bloody tired and exhausted to continue. I have been trying to tell myself and preach myself telling that I must do these for the sake of Allah, but I guess, I am failing.

Mom and dad would be very disappointed knowing that I am not actually very happy living here. Well, not to the optimum. I mean life has been repeatedly about studying and to pass the first year. Every time it feels amazing to let to learn new things, to discover how organs work, to know how to handle emergency aids and such; but I don't know why I feel life is lacking of boost.

I have been looking through the photos of Puncak Alam quite a number of times. I felt free back then, with my K770i. It was a big mistake to have been traded that cybershot phone with a lousy Xperia X8. Nak smart phone sangatkan?! Ni lah padahnya!...but I shouldn't complain much since K770i was really broken by the time I was about to come to Belgaum; and that's why I got the new X8.

At University, I should have more friends and cliques. Yes, I do have them here; but I am just too greedy and stubborn for wanting to have the similar friends I had before. You see, the only person I feel free to do anything with is my room mate. But, I can't just rely on one person. I want to have groups of friends. Oh why am I being so demanding?

Looking through photos of my ex-schoolmate; I envy how close their friendship is. Their still photos show everything off. It was just lovely and lively! I would want photos like that, said my heart. Sadly, would I get that with this pathetic situation I am enduring with now?

I do have friends and I bragged a lot about having friends in Russia, in USA, in Palam, in Indonesia and in Egypt; but I don't cherish them. They are just mere people I used to know; used to study with, used to talk a little with and this is just bad. I know I should not feel down just because I am lacking that feeling of having friends around because Allah is the only Entity that I must seek for.

Somehow or rather, deep down inside, I am still a mere human. A human who needs a companion. But I am a human who rarely succeeded in achieving close contact and relationship with people. More often I ruined them; just like what I did a couple of days before. Being a leader who is hatred by some people is such a devastating occurrence. And it was all my fault for not being clever and wise enough to handle a small matter ; rather I made things complicated.

You know the feeling when, seeing others got calls from their friends at Malaysia, far away from here, make me envy, a lot frankly saying. Even sending people postcards and not receiving not at least one from the people I love is sad. It's awkward when seeing colleagues here receiving postcards from their friends, receiving visits and all. And when I don't get any of them; I just feel like am I the only one who still consider these people I know as friends?

I never had best friends. Even if I had one; GOD has taken her away; very far. I miss her. Maybe it's because I am not friendly, not kind and not fun that I am feeling so lonely in this world of loneliness? Perhaps so? Even family members are too busy to attend me, what more with friends that I must seek for?

Okay then, so books and dear books; would you please dearly have some 'great' time with me? I won't do you harm but I bet you would.

O ALLAH The Most Merciful, I only seek knowledge through YOU; since only YOU could give me the knowledge.

Inferior Knockdown

Assalamualaikum again.

I just wanna tell you how sad it is when a frequent blog you used to stalk upon to is now no longer available. I don't know whether it has been hacked or the author has completely loosing his mind by deleting all those wonderful stuff he made me linger to, but yeah, it's sad for me.

Pascaspm.com is the blog I am blabbering about. It's a nice random blog from a medical student in Moscow. He has this talent in humor and he made my day often, just by posting something which I can quickly interpret the message but at the same time hilarious. I love reading his travelogue parts whereby he visited many European spots that I drool to go and see. He called his tour group (with a bunch of his friends) as Power Rangers. I mean, I can't just write about how funny the blog is but it's surely the best blog I've subscribed to. And when it's no longer on the net, it's like someone important in your life is suddenly missing.

I am exaggerating. Sorry.

Well, just these past few days (already turn to weeks) have been completely lonely. I used to online everyday, after class ends because to skype with my parents. I don't even have that clique where I go online desperately because of him or her, just to skype, chat or whatever. I just never had. Not to mention, cousins.

Family members are still in the Holy City performing their Umrah. It's a disappointment that I wasn't able to join. But, truth is, I am sacrificing myself to stay here and study for the sake of Ummah. Yes, I want to be a doctor who can contribute a lot of things to the Ummah, the society, the family and the list goes on. Of course, being a medical doctor one day, would let you make you feel like you're some kind of a superhero, but that is just far still far ahead of me.

Most of the friends I have on skype aren't that happening to skype with. I mean, I rarely talk to them in persons, so how should I expect they would react when it come to skype? I mean we don't have anything to talk about anyway, so why bother. Even the closest friends during asasi, are now completely occupied with their own business, so how am I gonna expect they would come online just to talk to the things that we aren't engulf together? It's bizarre.

3 hours difference in time zone has always been a barrier, no matter how fast your Internet is. My mom would go to sleep by 10 pm while it's still around 7 pm here in India. And during that time, I might be busy performing solat or just came back from class. My mom won't stay that long just to see me in skype as she is a pretty busy working career woman, so she needs her sleep at her prior, even how much she must be missing me.

The time barrier is also a hindrance between some of friends who upon miracle have this intention to chat with me and ask me something. By the time I online they would say, they almost went to sleep. So yeah, nothing works in distance relationship as for me. * AGAIN EXAGGERATING*

I also have a circle of friends that we called Bulatan Gembira. It's an Usrah formed group that I suddenly joined without intention to. I never joined one and this is my first. I would say I still have this difficulties to get to cling to the usrah mates even though they are nice and they are part of my friends. Maybe because we rarely are together. Or maybe because I am just a new part of them. It's hard trying to get into some group of people who already have some bond among each other.

One day, kakak Usrah, told us not to only see Usrah as Usrah. Whenever problem rises in your head, quickly go see any one of them, and share. But I am the one who easily write my problem here (hoping you on the other side could see/read) rather than go to random people who you rarely talk, and suddenly ventilates all the problems arising from your head to that people. And when she asked, what did you get from Usrah, I would frankly say sometimes, yes, I get nothing. The messages sometimes still quite blurred.

Also, it is an inferior when there's someone who wanna take over your place at something. People opted me for becoming their outspoke person is because of some reasons and thank you to them for believing in me. When there's someone better that you see taking over your job without realising that you're pissed that's something that really made me hit by an avalanche. Maybe because I give less said my heart. The girls here take each other's hearts by baking and cooking to each other. Not that, I don't like that method of approaching people, but I am a slow cooker. Not as pro as them, and might as well spend drench five hours just to cook 3 dishes. T.T

Naqib (a friend), once said I have turned into such an emotional person after coming here. I can sense that too. I am not cheerful either. The mood fluctuates often. But I really opt to see other things that would made me occupied rather than reading all the books and devote my life to them and see the same people I see day by day. I need a new quest. A new friend maybe.

So, that's all the random blabbering. It's actually a stress when you can't even answer the easiest topic of respiratory block in the test. And also, not to be able to impress and help a bunch of discussion group on a topic you think you've completely understood. I am failing.

Thousand-miles

I frankly took this from Dr Zoul's blog. And this is what I want to be exactly. Professional in the eyes of my patients and society, but at home I will live in a wrecked-ship.

To say that I am certainly ready for all the outcomes, and the consequences, it would be all lies. You see, once you are entitled with medical school, your life would be different, no matter how your brain makes you think you are the same person.

For instance, my schoolmates are planning on a reunion. Reunion for being 20. Due to the fact that I am actually far from home, deters me to join, apart from not having Chiam beside me. And 5 years away from all those friends and families can make you crazy. Now I know the benefit of studying locally.

Mom on the other hand will always hoping that I study almost 24/7. But I actually have brain-clot somewhere. I encounter this terrible instance memory loss and I cannot persist long-term memory well enough to stuck all these block lectures in my head. Somewhere in my body or brain is lacking of something. I don't know what it is, that's the main problem. Even now, I always prone to have the family or friends to chat with through Skype so that I won't be that homesick. Deactivating facebook is my long thought decision as to make my family realizes that they have to tune up to Skype to 'see' me from far.

In the other 10 years, when I finally start working for the government, people would think I work for money mostly. Plucking money from the tree, to and fro to the hospital and come back home with sleepless nights, this would be a daily routine. Working hard and tired and almost losing a mind can't never be compensated with a high wage. Mind is always priceless and come prior to get the healthy doctor on duty.

To reflect back, what I think I do is acting like Dr House. The cynical but brilliant fake doctor tonnes have watched over the past 8 seasons if I am not mistaken. Frankly speaking, during pre-med, heck yeah I thought I am almost like Dr House. Even reading the Embryo or glancing at the ATLAS, I finally think that I have somehow surpass the world of dumb to the world of geniuses. But, deep down inside, I only fantasize myself and my surroundings. The more I know, the more I don't know.

At home, the real situation is very upsetting. You will get back wearing the pyjamas, heating up the water to make a cup of coffee for the trillions time for the week, and consume your meals, but then again, it often comes out to me that I become confused on what I should give focus to. Like which topic should I master first, or which subject should I give prior to. Sometimes, in the middle of walking to and fro, in the room, I always stop for a sec and becoming blank of not knowing what to do. It's like muscle stiffness and some cerebellar disease or something.

Books and books are lovely. Soulmates for this journey to begin with. I love my books but are so hard to let the knowledge from them got intact to the memory. Why? Is it because of the food I consume? Is it because I no longer get the 'saint' pure food from home or mom home-made dishes? Maybe. Or maybe because I get rid of the habit of eating raisins and drinking zam-zam water from my daily consumption, just because I cannot get them right here? Probably....but to speak aloud: Where the heck is my brain power?

Answering selanjar 2, isn't as smooth as it was during selanjar 1. I don't know what happened, but what I know is I don't quite get the input from what I studied. This is sad. Is it because I am more prone of believing that I would look stupid after have studied but unable to score the high marks? Maybe because I want to brag about the marks rather that I focus on the knowledge I'd get? It's hard.

I am in the dilemma of getting the right strategy to get back the brain power. How to get all these into the brain. How to remember the pictures in the atlas? How to understand easily the concept of physiology and the names of enzymes in Biochemistry?

The person who I am now, is a person who is not longer the person whom I used to be. I certainly have some problem in the body but I don't know what it is. Hermmm.....the agony...

2 months and miscellaneous

Assalamualaikum :)

It's 11 a.m and I haven't start revising what I planned to revise last night. My room mate said that it's impossible to cover everything since we only have like 2 days left to burn the midnight chill. She gonna do spotting questions. But, spotting only helps during the secondary education days. Sigh.

The route to the beautiful mini forest :3

Anyhow, it's enjoyable to see how these trees swaying following the rhythm of the chilling wind that blown all over Nehru Nagar, Belgaum, Karnataka, India. Yes people, I am not living in the suburban place like Bangalore. I am living on a state which is already blending in my blood and I enjoy adapting to the places. Sadly, I haven't had this good Hindi proficiency yet, which is quite troublesome when we go shopping. Even the Kannada dialect is also a tough one to get through. Still, I missed learning Ruskee. And I feel Ruskee is easier even though we need to memorize all the Crylic letters.

Capati and chicken. Common lunch :3

I am happy to announce that it's winter now. It's so chilling but according to the seniors last year's is more chilling. However, I am happy enough to not to sweat. This conducive surrounding let me be study well and sleep soundly like a baby. How blessed I am to be sent here. Nikmat :)

the ultimate chicken cheese sandwich at 45 rupee

2 months have I stand on this Belgaum land. A place where I never had expected to come, what not to study. But I am loving it. I like talking and chit chatting with the manager at our cafe down the hostel. His name is Umesh, who is so friendly, and he's currently taking his Master degree in Sociology. Another manager was here, named Firdhous, a Muslim Lady. But now she quited and joined a school as a teacher. Miss her though.
the biochemistry

Selanjar One denotes the first battle as in my previous post. 50 minutes for short essay question, 1 hour for 40 true false questions and 1 hour for slide spot assessment. But there are three big important topics to cover. The irony of being in medical school, but this is the challenge, and I am loving it too. Why is the duration so short? Because doctors aren't supposed to have a long time to think and making decision. They had the shortest limit of time to do all the best they can according to their professionalism and intelligence.

planning to travel after selanjar. InsyaAllah

Hearing many seniors failed this first battle somehow terrifies the heck out of me. However, with all the harsh preps like what I posted earlier, InsyAALLAH everything will be fine :) Let's pray together:)

My Mom's note on the upcoming exam:

companions. most of the time. literally

Just nail the interview and wear nice of course. Biasanya mereka yang berjaya dapat kerja kat tempat-tempat top class seperti Pavi dan Bangsar ialah golongan yang bergaya sakan. Ala-ala model, or Teenage Vogue. Sorry that I am not.

Anak tauke 7 Eleven lagi best ehehhe. Teman lelaki akak trainee manager ni, seorang supervisor di Butik Guess Pavi (rasanyalah :p), dapat gaji cecah RM3000 jugak sebulan. Kerja rasanya tak susah kut, but mesti pandai dealing with customers and make sure the money is rolling from the sales. Kawan saya, sebaya kerja Dome for 3 months, gaji dekat RM4000 jugak, best tak? But not everyone is calculative.

Lagi-lagi? Pak Jang saya juga ada seorang kenalan sekolah, yang sebenarnya bijak pandai tapi malas nak attend sekolah. Sekarang kenalan beliau tu dah jadi jutawan berpangkat besar lagi, walaupun padahal asalnya bisnes seludup beras daripada Siam, teka siapa kalau pandai? Hehehe....Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar al Bukhary ialah jawapannya. Dan ramai lagi actually, contoh lain paling mudah, Dato Siti Nurhaliza. Ada SPM sahaja, tengoklah beliau sekarang kat mana? HAHAHA.

Anyhow, everything depends on luck and rezeki. Ketentuan Allah kita tak dapat persoalkan. But these days, nak masuk Universiti bukan senang. I mean nak masuk senang, tapi nak dapat course yang kita nak and Universiti pilihan tu sukar sekali. Ini serious!! Harap adik-adik yang hingusan kat luar sana, cubalah betul-betul study smart, especially yang tau mak ayah tak berapa mampu tanggung kos yuran yang mahal.

And also these days, nak secure jalan yang mampu ubah hidup bergantung pada segulung sijil ijazah atau diploma. Ijazah is better, PhD is the best. But seriously, I too lack kemahiran, my best kemahiran right now, according to my mom is bancuh kopi and nescafe and making cornflakes easy honey treats. HEHEHE.

Okay, so back to the point, saya sebenarnya nak cakap dewasa ni susah dan bukannya senang. Dewasa ialah waktunya kita harus tanggung dosa sendiri, berani ambil risiko, berhadapan dengan krisis Peer Pressure and Family Pressure yang bertambah parah, memikirkan soal masa hadapan seperti, dalam 10 tahun akan datang what will I be, if I get married, how many kids I wanna bear?, what house I wanna buy, and kemudian timbul isu kereta la and all sorts of bills. (FUHHHH). Contoh, saya berhadapan dengan situasi menghadapi dewasa yang gerun semasa SPM (PRESSURE GILA) and also waktu JPJ nak dapatkan lesen. Tapi saya fikir ambil lesen lebih payah. Blame me for my lack expertise in skills. I can't even press the clutch right. Sedih tak? Bahkan sampai sekarang saya tiada lesen lagi, lantas menyusahkan saya untuk bergerak 'hangout' dengan rakan-rakan. Whatever it is, still ada hikmah; iaitu mengelakkan saya daripada kebiasaan keluar rumah, and go to driving thru for some fast food treats. TEHHEE :D  But jealous lihat sepupu lebih muda bawa kereta BMW X6 ayah dia. COOLIOOO!

Then, bila dewasa juga, kita perlu sediakan mental dan fizikal yang FIT untuk berhadapan dengan prosedur melecehkan untuk mendapatkan tempat di Universiti dan untuk apply for scholarships. Apabila syukur telah dapat kedua-duanya, time to get ready to pack, ready to go. IN 1 drinks, and more and more things, termasuklah sweaters, socks, telekung, laptop, notebooks, stationeries. And there're some stuff to be listed too.

Kena marah..

On last Wednesday, I went to The India Visa Centre located at Jalan Lebuh Pasar Besar to of course do my visa. Sadly, MARA didn't covers for it, so I went up using dad's money instead. Pity me though for not having this 'capability' to pay this on my own. I am plain broke.

Actually, on that day before, Tuesday that was, dad and I walked all the way from Jalan Raja Laut crossing the Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman to reach Masjid Jamek to search for Jalan Lebuh Pasar Besar. Glad that my dad is  a Kuala Lumpur expert, so he knew quite well where some important buildings are located in the city. It was tiring and blazing hot, adding up it was Ramadhan.

I guess that Tuesday was some sort of a bad luck day for me though. Dad and I went to perform Zuhur at Masjid India, which was sooo crowded. After wudhuk, I went to the Muslimah side of the masjid, then I got scolded for stepping on the pathway that I can't step on if I have my shoes on. The clean lady was like:

" Dah tulis tak boleh pijak pun, masih pijak lagi. Takde mata ke? "

And she was pointing all those words to me. Everyone was staring at me like I am sort of a loser (Well, practically I am. I step back, took off my shoes and went inside without bothering to give some piece of my mind to the lady. Takpe, puasa, so tahan je nafsu amarah tu :)

Anyhow, as I was saying, I went again to KL on Wednesday, since the service for Visa had already close when we actually arrived at the very place. Early in the morning we went there, and so, I was the first one to deal with the counter that very day.

Unfortunately, I don't know which part that I did wrong or LOOKed wrong that I was mistreated so badly. Okay, actually as I arrived, I went to the receptionist, gave the lady my information and the lady did write something on my Visa form and then gave it back to me. She gave me my number, and in a couple of seconds, I was called. Damn fast.

Then, it was at the counter where, I was treated like some sort of bastard. The counter lady, asked for my Visa form, my passport and USM offer letter rudely though. The intonation was as if she had PMS on that day. She ruined my mood in a total. Then she asked me rudely again why didn't I complete my visa form. Well it was 90% complete, except that I left blank some of the part I didn't know what to fill. I gave her back as soon as I finished filling those empty parts. She asked for my passport, and kept complaining how different my signature in the passport with the one in the Visa form. Of course a slight different only. Is that such bad thing? No right? T.T

I was so freaking pissed because of the lady at the counter. She even questioned me whether my application has been approved by the manager. I told her NO because I didn't know that the first lady at the reception counter already approve it. She took my visa form, and saw the red ink note written by that lady, and exclaimed, " Just now I asked you dah approve ke belum, you kata belum". Yeah, like I knew THAT was actually what they mean by approved.

Luckily, all those heart wrenching moment lasted about 20 minutes. I was a bit shocked by how RUDE some people especially officers can be EARLY in the morning. Really spoiled my mood though, I bet she spoiled hers too. Maybe I was right that she has PMS. But why can't she be at least a bit fun. I am going to her country for God sake. Why can she smile? Is not like she's working under the hot blazing sun or it's not like she's on fasting. Haih....what a day

But people, that was just a simple scene one would have to bear in Kuala Lumpur. Harsh people are everywhere. No one you can trust.

Annoyance

Yeah, it's Ramadan now. But it's so freaking hard to resist annoyance.

1. annoyed with one girl in Facebook. I don't know whether or not she's a friend I should keep or should I 'unfriend' her. She annoys me by liking every post and every status I made. She is nice and all, but she annoys me everytime. But why am I nagging? That's the reason to have facebook in the first place, wasn't it?

2. annoyed with a friend who seems so mysterious and has a lot of secrets. I do respect people's privacy, but if something like where you are studying is also a mysterious thing and a big secret, how will I function as a friend?

3. annoyed with some people who couldn't be honest. Mulut putar belit, macam ular. Sometimes it's west sometimes it's east. Not certain and specific. Doing maths is better I guess because there's always specific answers rather than dealing with uncertain people.

4. annoyed with some Malaysian officers who seems to be very bossy and sometimes stuck ups and snobbish. Do they learn manners treating customers? Is it that hard to work a little harder during Ramadhan? Working in an air-conditioned cubicles are so tiring heh? Have they ever ponder how is it like for people who fight for money under hot blazing sun? Just tiresome and gruesome dealing with officers who never know the art of smiling and never ever learn the art of learning people's explanation. HEH.

5. Super slow KTM is making me nuts. Since, KTM is the only transport, at least the best choice I have to travel to KL if there aren't anyone to drive me there, I have to bear the slowpoke-ness forever. 10 minutes for KTM means 20 minutes and 30 minutes means an hour. Clap clap KTM for being the oldest train service yet still sucks. And I guess the women's coach are now meant for men too aite? There is no longer any officer on duty to let no man into the coach. HAHAHAH. Pity laaa T.T

Chinese Mindset

Have you ever heard that Chinese always had their eyes for money? They WOULD never end up for business that could make them lost? And, they always have good mindset? I couldn't agree more. Even in Malaysia, Chinese topped the market in HARVESTING their income to the highest degree. Most of the richest tycoon we have right now are ruled by these Chinese people and even shopping malls that we used to go to LEPAK and hotels that surrounded our capital city, most of them are owned by these great Chinese tycoons. They have some kind of principle in life that we can follow. Besides that, Prophet Muhammad s.a.w (selawat ke atas junjugan) once phrased: Tuntutlah ilmu sampai ke negeri China. Why do you think he mentioned about China?

Last night I couldn't sleep, so I grabbed the newest edition of my school's magazine. Like I expected, the magazine featured the list of names of 'successful' SPM 2009 candidates. It is fun to see my name among those great achievers. And, it brought the old memories again. Anyhow, what I wanna emphasize here is on my friend, the 2009's best SPM achiever of my school, advice on how to succeed. I somehow or rather feel that it can be put into good use. Who knows?

Liew Chee Tuck is the friend I am mentioning about. A great friend, a handsome friend, and a friendly accounting tutor. He is like my ONLY CHINESE friend I have right now, after Chiam demised. Listed below would be his advice to the juniors:

Ways to Deal with Time: -Dividing time to four categories

1. importance and immediate
2. importance and non-immediate
3. not important and immediate
4. not important and non-immediate.

Ways on Studies: Divided into 3 categories

1. Understanding: do notes and exercises
2. Calculation: do notes and memorize formulae
3. Language: knows the technique

One of his goal that will make him undoubtedly as a Chinese is to have a personal asset targeting at RM10 million. Now he is pursuing a foundation studies in Actuarial Science and will continue his degree after May 2011.

I remember how he used to read a book that contains technique on good business managements, that have been adapted from ancient Chinese technique on wars. He did ask me to consider reading it, but I haven't up till now. I will definitely gonna get the book!

And, I am grateful to have him as a friend while in school. He is a brilliant guy, and I owe him a lot for helping me in accounting. Miss him badly now. Lol.

>>>p/s: Chinese can be a very good friend. Sadly, I have only a few of them. Pity<<.

Muet And Miscellaneous

"Seriously, I expect more from you, Dayana", wrote a friend of mine on yesterday's chat. He thought, and many friends here, expected that I could get band 5 at least, but yeah, don't expect high on me, because you would end up backfired. To be frank, I got band 4 for MUET End 2010, and I felt relieved. Alhamdulillah to Allah The creator, for HE the only one who knows the best for HIS servants.

So far I knew two guys from UiTM Puncak Alam who got band 5. They are awesomers whom need no more to be bragged. Congrats to all of MUET candidates who passed it well, and eligible for the degree programmes. Let's work hard on the real examinations and assignments at college for now on, and surpass the CGPA needed.

Been away from blogging not because I was reluctant to do so, but I was actually hindered by bad server of the Internet. What to do? I am not afford to buy a broadband for now, seriously, my allowances given by the KPT decreased bit by bit. Paid the RM475 fees and only several amount was left. Then, there is other thing that needed to be paid, so meaning I can't really use that money to spend on leisurements and entertainments which is kinda frustrating. The more you live, the more things you need, the more things you want, but sadly, most of them have to be traded with cash. What a life. That's why, you can't say money is not important. Even to buy yourself a yard of cloth when you die, need some money.

Anyhow, in the midst of relief after accomplished doing my physics first presentation, now come the other one. I thought I had passed it, and that's for the last time, but I was wrong. Tuesday, I need to present the OHM'S law experiment, done the slides with the girls but then, after rejoicing, I remembered that I haven't revise for upcoming test on Thursday, which consisting of 7 chapters to cover, and I went ballastic. Covering so many topics in less than a week is a crazy job but still, I have to make it work. Not to mention, my roommate whom has always been on her desk, studying like hardcore, came to seek me for physics, but then I realised, even though I got the answer right, I already forget the solution. How pathetic.

Wow. already 1 am, and here I am, jotting down a journal, without the pursuit to scratch the notes for physics and chemistry, in which chemistry test is on Tuesday. I lent my notes and tutorials on hydrocarbon to a groupmate, but then his girlfriend called, telling me that that friend of mine's Iphone was out of battery, so he can't reply any of my messages and calls, so making me waiting like for 30 minutes at the dining hall and almost went furiously annoyed. I am pissed because sometimes, doing good brings some sort of discomfort in our lives. Like what I faced, giving someone notes that I myself should be reading and conquering, and ending up being pissed because I can't get back the notes immediately. Everything is just increasing my hatred towards everything else.

Oh, until then, you will see me brag and mutter and merepek for more after this. Don't worry. Just read, about how those computer and Internet geeks are in the search for a program that could detect whether any social networks or webs account owners who died and letting their pages to be neglegted arouse curiosity of mine of the progress. It would be great, if one day we can know easier if something emergency like that happened.

Semester Two Chapter 3

And yes, been in Puncak Alam for the 3rd week. Alhamdulillah, everything went okay and alright, without anything to be complained off (finally it is okay).

Classes are on errand like usual. Nothing much to be bragged, still running here and there, especially around 3.00 p.m to 4.00 p.m, in order to get the lift to get the seats for later lectures. And things got fun when we need to actually fight for the lift, during the peak hours between tutorial at FF2 and lectures at FSK DKF2 which is the farthest lecture hall there is, and most of my lectures are situated at that VERY hall. What a luck!

Anyhow, last weekend, I CHOSE to stay and not returning home for the weekends. Well, my one of the eldest cousin got married to a beautiful woman on Sunday, so my parents picked me up and headed there on that very day. Both looked stunning during their wedding at my favourite place to eat like in heaven ; Mak Teh's house. A house where already becoming our village. It was a happily-smooth event. Alhamdulillah :) Glad seeing 2 of my cousins, already settled down, and now left with emmm...wait, too many to be counted. Hehehe.

Yup, and on Saturday morning, as early as 8 a.m, my groupmates and I went for a cycle around this huge campus. It has been sooooo long since my last cycle. And, cycling is forever still very fun. It felt so much like Azizul Hasni Awang, the gold medalist, when cycling down the peak of puncak alam. Fuuhh. so fast, and barely stopped. Getting the fresh air and laughing non stop with the girls gave me a sense of relief from boredom in my room. Thanks to the girls:) But yes, when returning to the peak, and to cycle against gravity is no fun! Tiring except for my one friend, Eliza. The other girls said, they got asthma during returning. Hehehe. Sadly, Dina Azureen was not there. If not, it would be fun even more.

from left; Yan, Jija, Syikin and Eliz

sorry, no make-up lol

the very left is Dina, and she's funny like damn funny. I wonder why she's quite today :(

I wanna show u guys, how is it like in the midst of the environment. It was captured in the morning and it was raining. Colddd I tell ya. And yes, very nice to 'guling2' on the bed:)

Can you see the stairs? A view from my room:) And kabus weh. biasalah Universiti Genting Highland, hehee.:)

Well, I must say it is kinda sad to know, that in a 4 months time, I'll bid this nice room a farewell. It's hard to get a nice room alike what you can get at Puncak Alam. As for my juniors, who wanna do diploma in health sciences or foundation studies; opt for UiTM in your UPU application. Who knows you will get my first class room:)

Alas, gotta do my lab report for chemistry. Been procrastinating it since last Thursday. Boo me! And, at last, The Annual Grand Dinner for Asasi Sains students is now alive! Will be held at Shah Alam Convention Center, price per person is RM70 but still in the progress of getting sponsorships from UiTM itself, buses are provided, auditions are on, and if I am not mistaken, only 1500 persons can actually accommodate the hall. The SACC already asked for the RM20K deposit. What a value eh? But it will be a waste if one doesn't go. It sounded like a fantastic event, and what NOT, its theme is Masquerade baby! Maybe I can put on something like I watched in Shakespeare movies?

or perhaps V for Vendetta? ngeh3

Or like this, smart eh?

Okay, to be frank, I am kinda like the theme. Sophisticated no? I just wish I can wear dresses, but I couldn't. Anyhow, let's see how thing goes. 10 persons per table, who gonna be in a group with me? hehehe:)

Semester Two Chapter 2

Like always, to blog at Puncak Alam takes time. Hard to use the Internet and no time to leisure blogging, literally speaking. Unlike semester 1, currently, tonnes of works are piled on the desk, and just pray hard that I could manage to settle them up in time.

Anyhow, like I tell you readers earlier, in the previous post, I would like to jot down some objections regarding the talk by UPU staff thingy happened on last Monday the 22nd of November. Yes, like everybody knows, we here in Puncak Alam foundation centers are required to fill in the UPU form for applying our degree courses via online. 13 December is the date projected for us to start applying and continuous until the 26th of December if I was not mistaken. But whatever.

Prof Ahmad, in just now Physics lecture, suggested us to CHOOSE Physics as our first selection for the degree programme. According to him, we better stick to things that aren't seems limited like Medicine, Pharmacy and dentistry. To note you readers widely, UiTM rather has only 350 spots for the three latter courses. 200 spots for medicine, 100 spots for pharmacy and 50 spots for dentistry. Hahaha. Laugh out loud people. With 1000 ++ ants of people here to compete for the same 'resource' and 'dreams', the possibility narrowed down at a much higher rate. Prof Ahmad went again telling us, sarcastically and frankly, how are we gonna go for medicine, if only a small number of us, obtained at least A in two important subjects; Biology and Chemistry? And, the sound of the cengkerik was heard. Even when he told us to CHOOSE Physics, a girl at the back, exclaimed loudly, AHHHH!!

Back to the talk given on last Monday, I was rather gonna puke, after hearing that, we BETTER go for courses that aren't likely going to be chosen by the applicants. The talker said, over and over, that we BETTER opt for something different, or in other words, choose the road less taken. Many Malaysians are gonna pick medicine. That's for sure, and even though many universities rated the least pointer at 3.50 for the applicant to qualify for the course, that is again A LIE. "Go for other universities", told the talker for the day. Don't choose UiTM unless you are really good and well-equipped with those charismatic features like amazing pointers and credibilities in many areas. And when I thinking back the moment when I whined after receiving a YES for being an asasi student, I looked back at myself at the mirror, and saw the reflection of a loser. I drowned in somewhat a lower charismatic person and having lack in credibilities in many areas. And, so many others here are WAY outstanding. I again feel jaded.

In my minor group B1, still the friends are there. But, I feel hard to befriend with many of them especially the opposite genders. Like always, I am bad at socializing with the guys. And, the same thing goes for the girls. Not to mention, 3 persons in the B1 group I knew, got a flat 4 pointer recently. When I looked at them, I witnessed my weaknesses  'Lack of diligence' and 'Proud over the top'. Some of them, rather looked simple, and if we didn't bother to ask, probably until the semester II ends, we won't be able to know they were flat pointer students. Applause for them who gained triumph. They deserved it. And the least I could bear in my mind, is that, everyone has his or her own 'rezeki'.

Before I am off, I also wanna brag that the foundation in science is planning to have the Grand Dinner, in which the further details are still phantoms. Now, the administration board are conducting a vote for the theme. I hope they organized it somewhere nearer, like Kuala Lumpur. But, yes, some might object. Grand Dinner will be a blast, I supposed. But still, on the assurance whether I will attend, is still in consideration. Perhaps, grand dinner is for those who really think socializing is their advantage. Crap, I am lacking in my confidence now.

I just voted for spring fling; the least that I think suitable and easiest to find a dress to wear. And, thinking of what to wear and put on is a serious problem too. Oh what a life! Plus, not returning home this weekend, weakened my pumping of the heart. Boredom will strike me in the bedroom. And going to and fro to the bathroom, and continuous studying, making me having a headache and eye sore. Adios.

>>>hoping for the sem II allowances to exist in the bank account A.S.A.P;( <<<<

University and School is different.

Well, it feels like only yesterday when SPM ended. Now the new batch of 2010 will face the same challenge eh? Goodluck, two weeks more for them to conquer it all. But, SPM is super easy, I tell you. Hahaha.

1. No more lonely ranger.

Once you are in University, the phrase no longer works. No matter what you do, you always need to be in group. Discussion and etc, presentation and lab reports, everything relies on good teamwork. I had troubles, because I used to work alone in school. In college, I couldn't grab the teamwork concept. It was hard for me to do the laboratory works and reports when it came to co-operation with other people who we don't even know. So, make sure you don't think that when you did well alone at school, it would help you in higher institution. Coz' it's not.

2. Time to be open

Open in aspects of relationships. Don't mingle with just a particular group of people. Balanced both. Because this will help you to gain more informative output and expand your networking.  More you know people, the more easier for you to get fast information about upcoming mock tests whatsoever, advance notes and activities that are going to be held so that you can get extra points for your cocurricular column.

3. Learn to be hungry

In college, there will be so many people each meal time is on. So, if you cannot withstand hunger, bring light snacks like cookies or whatsoever to munch between lectures. If you have many cliques, you can ask them to save you space at the cafe' or at the canteen. Sometimes, be nice helps. So that they can help you buy your meal when you cannot do it on your own.

4. No more teacher's pet

Everyone is basically treated the same by lecturers and tutors. You have to take note to have all your lecturers' contact number and emails, so that you can arrange for later meet ups personally. Tutors are not so much helpful though. One hour tutorial for each subject per week is not enough for you to master certain topic, so meeting up personally with your lecturers could help you gain some extra attention from them, and extra tips too.

5. Uncertainty IS NOW your enemy

Even if you were the top student at your school, you are no longer committing to that title while in college. More rivals will try to beat you and the only key to strive is to work hard and super duper hard and hard some more. Sometimes, work smart also doesn't work. Even if you got more Aces than someone elses, your pointer will be lower than them. Things won't be fair like in high school. Face all the possibilities lie ahead. Besides, sometimes they are many copycats, but they still make it out to beat you because their copy cat works turns better, and the lecturers never knew whether they actually plagiarised the works or vice versa. So, yeah, it's an unfair world at college. And it will make you mad!

6. Weekends are super boring, so make fun yourself!

There are some colleges which offer good activities during weekends, but some there aren't any. So, please bring anything that can please you. Television is not allowed of course, but having computers is a must, for you to be online watching movies and whatsoever. This is vital for those whom hometown is far away. And, also mind to be active, because if you're bored, you need to go for outing, and the 'journey' for outing is super tiring.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

to be continued. maybe. hahaha. Gambate for 2010 SPM-ers. I miss those moments of SPM though:( You will too later. Meanwhile, I will be enjoying another 2 weeks of holidays. Yahoo..!

Fahmi likes to arouse jealosy among those who are already in college. muahahahaha. thumbs up!

Finally

Not a big hooha but just so happy that I got my L back. My driving learner license. Now, it is time to renew it, then starting it all over from a scratch. Going to another new driving school. Hope this time works. I wanna dvive so badly! After this, only then I can have my own car. Alhamdulillah.

>>>p/s: trying to study math and biology this holiday, but it seems like I am only gaining a good sleep, and not the good input for my brain<<<

We often follow, without making it our own.

Teenagers, what, and who are they? Basically I am a teenager, finding for my real-true identity. Always with confusion and dilemma. Triggered by peer pressure and constitution. You adults have been what we call as teenagers whom always follow, without making things or OURSELVES by our own.

1. Wow...they got driving license and so I must have one too
-typically, in Malaysia, soon after SPM is over, tons of teenagers by the age of 17 make their way to driving schools. They think driving is so cool, and will make them look fun and they will eventually feel like being an adult. Having a driving license is like having freedom. But still, copycats...! We are copy cats, begging our parents for some money to go to the driving school just because our peers are doing the same thing. Boo us, boo me!

2. Movies marathon....money versus having temporary hourly sensational fun
-wow, its a holiday...come follow me for movies marathon. In the old days, where to watch movies only need 2 ringgit or less for the tickets, might not seem like a big deal if you are about to go for the movies marathon non-stop. Think again for people who live here, for today. As, watching a movie, probably cost a person about 8 ringgit up to a 13 ringgit. Not included pop corn, twisties and other junk food, total sum, 50 ringgit all together. Nice!! Ending up whooshing mom's and dad's savings for the movies, that are just temporarily stored in the brain, and after that, you would go, "OH MAN, I regret watching that damn movie!"

3. Vacationing abroad, how about Disneyland mommy!
-Well, for richies thanks for downloading your sweet, fun photos of your family's vacation in the place call overseas. This somehow, arouse jealousy among many including me to be frank. As for childish people, they would tend to follow the trend, by doing the same thing, of vacationing overseas...MOMMY take me to Disneyland, I wanna meet Buzz Light Year!!

...to be continued...

Days on Puncak Alam

Hello bloggyworld and people who amazingly spend some time reading my blog, thanks a lot. As I am posting this down, I am actually sitting in my room at Puncak Alam UiTM and not in Moscow like I've planned. Maybe Puncak Alam is the place where I deserved to be, no?

the view from my room:)
Class starts at somehow 10.30 a.m, late huh? I think I have finished all the physics tutorial given, so why don't I have sometime by myself, with the blog, right? The wind here blows gracefully, over my face, making my hair flew according to rhythm. Hahaha. The wind here is nice and refreshing.

Today, I only have lecture for physics which will last for 2 hours and then at 2.10 pm until 3.00 pm, tutorial physics starts. Not a very hectic schedule, only on Wednesday and Thursday will it be damn busy. Hehehe:)

with Prof Ahmad on physics lecture. He is SOOO! HILARIOUS

the purple box as you can see, it the library:) I've been there to meet Naqib:)

this was snap in Biology lecture with the awesomely gorgeous lecturer:)

Lagha

Do you guys know what is Lagha? Pronounce as 'LA-GHOR' actually refers to things or events or anything that can make you distracted, not focus and completely in your dream days. That's what I am having right now. Sad? Naaah...I don't think so.

A week to go for an Internet Addict like me to stay in a hostel, to study like a mad dog because I really wanna be a doctor {* like I am telling you this for hundreds of time*} and because I am really scared that I fail. Failure is my number one enemy. I wish not to encounter it again. Please!

Being at home for a week is not a sweet leisure. It's a boring pleasure since I hate doing nothing, sitting watch t.v, doing housechores like sweeping the floor as I hate using the vacuum since it will sounded so awful and I can be more deaf in a second, so no vacuum, I also being so lazy to do the laundry, and yeah, I MUST do it manually starting next week :| Boo me!!

All I've been doing so that I can enjoy my short time 'break' is by being on the Internet like everyone else did. I know no one now can live without it. No computer is like having a malignant cancer, but no Internet is like having a brain seizure. Hahaha:D Seriously, I just notice how terrible my life is without updating stupid status in Facebook or posting nasty words on Tumblr, or to see any cyber friends to chat with, or to watch my favourite Grey's Anatomy on the free web. Life has got to be more interesting!

And trust me, when you got overslept, and drooled while sleeping, it's not something to be bragged about. I just hate waking up early, which I have to make it a NOT, since I will encounter with 36 hours of sleeplessness later when I graduated. Being in hostel for approximately 8 months at Puncak Alam, will somehow educate me I think. No more being foolish, childish, lazy, and also selfish. I don't wanna this. Please! I am crying while typing this. I just hope those people miss me while I am not in their troop. I love you all Presconians!!

Slimming Pills, anyone?

Great. I can't persuade my parents any further. My small heart keeps telling me to continue studying in Presco, and leave for Russia as a freshman of medical school. Waaa!!! I need a miracle, NOW!

My parents on the other hand, seemed happy and a lot joyful knowing that I actually listened to them about going to UiTM in 2 weeks time. Maybe they just don't understand what I have been trying to tell them. Maybe we didn't have the telekinetic thingy, that enable us to communicate without uttering words. Their issue is money problem, well yeah, money again huh? So where is the doubt saying money can't buy happiness, in which the truth it can? Whatever. Maybe I'm not grateful enough, maybe I lack faith in qadak and qadar, but, yeah, what power do I have over my parents? Nothing. Tears shed like crazy, still nothing works. "Sigh" cut my life every second.

I made it clear for them, that I wanna pursue it in Russia. But, I still followed their orders like going to do my medical checkups in the UKM Clinic inside the campus. Well, I went there early, and I think the doctors were still having their breakfast or such, no other patients except me with mom. RM60 flew, just because we felt that the government clinic would make us wait like a log, since now its the season of freshman intakes into local U. >.<

To make the above title seems alive in the post, yeah, in my medical checkups, it includes the need to check for my current weight, height, systolic and diastolic pressure, urine test, chest X-ray and that's all as far as I remembered. I went for X-ray test first. A male Juru X-ray, was there, relaxing, since it was still early in the morning. Going inside the fitting room, I changed into the hospital attire, to X-ray my chest, needing me to stand straight wearing something on the waist, and voila, I got my X-ray. No worry. I am a healthy person, so, my X-ray was normal, I supposed. Hihi.

During the urine test, this one laboratory officer, asked me to give her "urine pertengahan". She gave me a container, more like a playdough container, and so I tried to urinate, to fulfill what she wanted. Unfortunately, I haven't ate my breakfast, so, my bladder was empty I think. 20 minutes I tried, but failed. Then again, I went out of the toilet, asking if they got any water that I can drink, just to fill my bladder up. And, yeah, I drank a full 3 polisterine cups of plain water. Still fail to urinate. Spending another 20 minutes in toilet. I was like murmuring and whining by myself to urinate, and after that, luckily I got my sample. Hooray for me!!! Trust me, it's not normal to push yourself to urinate if you don't even feel the urge to. T-T. The lab lady said

"Fuh, finally, I can do my work". Sorry:)

Then, I did my normal checkups. My weight was surprisingly over the border of my limit!!! Seriously, I knew it! I am fat, fat, fat....and how come my height is a cm shorter than what I got when I did my passport? Ah, a shorty plus a fatty, it's not a good start huh? Seriously, I need my slimming pills. I weighed more like a pregnant mother of twins. Gulp. I really have to watch my diet. T-T. Even my eyes are not getting better. I suddenly cannot differentiate between an O and a D, and a C with a G. Sad huh? The doctor said, if it turned worst, I might have to wear a pair of glasses. NO!!
At last, my day at the clinic ended after a meeting up with a doctor. She checked my breathe, and did some treatment on the stomach asking about my periods, which are always normal than ever. Yeah! I am a healthy but fatty kid. T.T. The check ups started from 9 am, and ended at 11. Okay compared to other clinics, right?

Я чувствую боль, глубоко ....

As I am learning a bit of common russian language...here is the first post, in that language. Hard language it is...need patience while learning it....I must say...:(

Вдруг, я чувствую боль, потому что я думаю, что я был обузой для своей семьи. Я действительно хотел, чтобы это в первый, теперь он чувствует себя так больно, будет знать, как каждый согласен с тем, что я делаю.

Try translating this to language that you know, Uncle Google will definitely be a big help

Tomorrow, a heaven:)

How do you do my precious readers?

I have been a quite-mute blogger lately, due to the life I currently pursuing. To make it clear, mom and dad are still in Mekah, and will only return to my hug next week, on Christmas' Eve. I can't wait!! I miss them very muchoo.

Yes, after so many whines here and there, about how I hated my school years in Kajang Utama, finally the end is here. The end will be tomorrow. I don't know whether I am able to see the world tomorrow, so I better say INSYAALLAH.

InsyaAllah, I will be in school tomorrow. Stepping over the gate's boundary at 12 p.m to send my borrowed school textbooks. I had arranged them neatly just now, take the last smell of it, feel their covers for the last time. And, woosh...of they go tomorrow.

Tomorrow is a heaven because it will be my last day of Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM). It will be my Agricultural Science Paper, and I hope I can do it will all my might. I just want to get A's in all the studies I take. Just A's....

Ah...time passed like lightning isn't it? Tomorrow, at 4 p.m, I will be a no-schooler any longer. It's time to be an adult, live like an adult and act like one. There are so many plans popping inside my head. I can't make the decision now. haha:)

ALAS. All I can say, there are so many-many memories, sad and happy, up and down, relieves and frustration in the school. Behind the walls, lie thousands smiles and sorrows. I will miss the teachers, Puan Thava, Puan Fozida, Cikgu Dzul, and all...Love ya guys:)

Are u fasting?

Something weird occurred to me at school today. It started when I was on the way to the front seat in 5 Amal, getting ready for pendidikan Islam lesson. Then, I saw Liew Chee Tuck and Anne Vanessa. They were doing some math revision. As Liew was in a hurry, he asked me to show Anne how to solve the math question. I was glad because it was the same question I attempted yesterday, so I gave her my shot. But, like always I failed to make her understand what I was trying to say, and it turned out she didn't understand the question.

Then she asked me something

"Dayana...u puasa ke??"

I was shocked, because it was the rarest question anyone has ever asked me for ages.

I answered quietly "No" {with serak2basah kinda voice due to my no-end-coughing disease}

Then, she said....

"Ur breathe smelly la...(trying to make how smelly it was) try minum air banyak2 la ok?"

After that she continues...

"U kecil hati ke?? I just bagi suggestion je"

So I went..."Erkk....no tak kecik hati..langsung" (although it was kinda hurt and embarrassing)

Then she said "Ok...bubbye..."

see without even saying thanks for the help...

{so cliche'}
